I use a heating pad for my lower back pain. Over the years I've probably tried 20 different heating pads and so far this one puts out the most consistent heat. Other heating pads tend to turn off or lower the heat randomly, but this pad keeps consistent heat for as long as the timer is set. It doesn't get quite as hot as others, but it does the trick. I'm a big guy and this pad is large enough to cover my entire lower back. The controls are very easy to learn and after a day of use I can set the heat and timer without looking, which is a plus for that middle of the night pain (though the digital readout is easily read in the dark or light). It heats up quickly, cools down quickly and has 6 levels of heat, compared to most others that only have 3. It's a 2 piece unit, meaning the cord plugs into the pad, but the pad's cover isn't removable. I'm not sure whether or not it's washable. I've been using this heating pad for over a month and so far it's the best I've owned, not to mention the great price. ... show more

I love this heating pad. I typically sleep with a heating pad every night. This is large enough to cover most of my back, has nice even heat, and I love the timer. I would definitely buy this again when the time comes.

Very easy to use, Quality is durable will be used for years to come. Weight is light as a feather even a very small child could pick it up but not recommended to do that lol. When putting max heat ( performance ) setting it does turn up the heat so careful ( which is a good thing ). Bought it prior to a surgery to help with recovery and it was everything I needed it to be. Color is very pretty, fabric is very soft, and the heat gets to a comfortable temperature but not too hot.
