The heat distribution is excellent and the colors are as advertised. Since this is a lightweight blanket I can use it either with the heat on or off. The material is very soft and comfy. i was looking for a durable, large blanket that could cover a king sized bed. i have nerve damage in most of my body, so at night i have to have something warm, but a heating pad just wasn't working. and then i came across this blanket and figured id give it a shot, and boy am i glad. it completely covers a king sized bed with no problems. and ive had it for almost three years and it still works great! i use the left side more-so than the right, so its not as strong powered as it once was but still works efficiently.
