My drive to work is unconventionally dangerous, 6 foot snow drifts, 40 mph wind, etc. However I had a small incident in the dash that melted the wiring harness, killing my OEM heater and many other items. Driving to work with no defrost has been a butt clenching experience. This heater was extremely easy to put in, wire up, and man does it put out heat. Best Amazon purchase I think I've ever made. BTW, if you hook it up backwards, it won't put out heat, ask me how I know. ... show more

    • Works great as Skid Steer / Equipment Heater
Output air is 120 degrees.. "low" setting more than enough to heat the Skid Steer cab with windows and a door. I've used it with no windows and no door and it works decent on high but obviously needs the door and windows for best results lol.

I wanted to add a heater to defrost my glass windshield and some floor heat on my winter rides. I bought the Jegs heater as RZR specific heater units are $600.00 to $800.00! I had to remove my glove box to install this heater and I have fabrication skills so it was easy for me to make it work! I get lots of heat from this unit and I am happy with my purchase. Very loud and of the three settings low is more then enough. Heater will heat the cab of my truck fast. The only down side is it just recirculates the cabin air which will allow the windows to fog up so I need to drive with the windows cracked. The heater looks ok, should work for what I bought it for the only problem I have is it didn't come with all the parts I called jegs and because I bought it from Amazon jegs wouldn't help me, told me to go through Amazon and see if they could get the parts for me, need less to say I haven't gotten anything and it's been over a month ... show more

This is a big heater and needs room, that said it's a greater heater and easy to wire. It DOES include wiring harness

I needed a new heater for my streetrod, the original 1947 Chevy car heater core started leaking and it could not be repaired. What air would come through on the original, is now "low" on this one.
