  • Simple and effective
Size: 2A 12V Color: Blue
Does what a battery tender should. It is simple to use and fairly intuitive operations too let you know the status of charging. Perhaps it was me, but it definitely wanted to have both positive/negative battery terminals on the battery connected, and not a grounded negative on the frame etc. The Volvo's battery has a positive terminal under the hood for jump starting, but the actual battery is under the floor of the rear end of car. I could only get it to charge when directly connected to the battery. ... show more

  • a multi-meter has confirmed that this unit operates to its design specs (see manual)
Size: 1A 12V&6V Color: Blue
I own several float /maintenance battery chargers (B01FTPZ6P4 and now this sku B07H97P93H) what I like about this unit and for that matter the other sku is they flat out work perfectly. I can state this because I used a multimeter to confirm this unit's operation thru each of its stages. What I was keen on confirming was the last stage. I want to know with certainty that the float/ maintenance voltage is in the 13.1-13.5 range My unit tested out at 13.2V - which is exactly this units stated design spec (see manual). I am totally confident in either of the sku(s) mentioned. That said, this unit is cheaper but for that price difference you must manually toggle a switch between 6v / 12v to match your battery before connecting to your battery. This manual step is not a big deal but it is something one needs to remember/know to do. BTW - My opinion one need not be afraid to buy the smallest (1 amp) units. My opinion is no one buys these units because they charge batteries quickly. Instead one buys these devices to store a battery for weeks/months at a time. IF you are putting a battery into storage with a partial charge than A 2 amp charger might need a 1.5 days to bring battery to full before entering float mode. A 1 amp charger of course would need double that (3 days) before entering float mode. Since one is using these to store a battery for weeks / months anyways a given unit being a few hours faster or slower to reach 100% charge means nothing. ... show more

  • Does what a charger is suposed to do
Size: 2A 12V Color: Blue
Had this for well over a year now with no issues. Used with deep cycle, lead acid, lithium, agm, car motorcycle, RV, lawn and garden, you name it. Used it many many times and it works great for all of them.. Simple to use, select lead acid or lithum, then connect and forget. Switches over to maintenance mode automatically when battery is fully charged. Never over charges. Good little charger. ... show more

  • Great Value, Works great.
Size: 2A 12V Color: Blue
I bought this charger because of the price and the Battery Tender I ordered from Amazon never shipped. It turned out to be a blessing since this Battery Charger works great with my New Lithium Battery. The Lithium Battery sat around for about a month since the Battery Tender never shipped and I was worried that it would be dead. I hooked up the Heagstat Battery Charger over night on the Lithium mode and installed it on my ZX6R that was sitting for a few years. The bike started up without a hiccup. I've had the Battery on there for 2 weeks now and the bike starts without any issued and the Heagstat is always hooked up on it to trickle charge. I ended up buying a second Heagstat because of the price and how well it worked for my other bike a Ducati 999. Can't beat the price and performance of this charger. Five stars all the way! ... show more
