  • Decent quality, but BE SURE you understand that this style chair has very little padding....ouch!
Size: 27.55D x 27.55W x 50.39H in Color: White
I'm an older gamer & content creator so I'm in this chair A LOT. I wanted this style because I liked the reclining feature and frankly I was kinda being silly in that I had to have a "gamer chair." It was a mistake. It's a decent chair as far as build quality, but like all of these racing-gaming-chairs, it has *very* little padding. The back and seat are contoured liker a racing seat (I'm okay with that but it really wasnt a necessity) and the seat bottom and back are padded with a very thin foam. At first it seemed fine (kinda hard, but fine) but now, after 6 months of daily use, I've developed a permanent aching sore spots on my "sitz bones" - literally the bones you sit on that protrude from the bottom of your pelvis. It literally aches all the time, going up stairs, doing chores - it's just become a chronic ache. I'm debating whetehr a gel pad will help or just call it a loss and buy another chair. If you're a teenager this may not bother you at all ( I mean, I could sleep on the floor when I was a teen, but now it would just about kill me haha) but if you're over 30 I'd seriously consider whether you might not want a more ergonomic office-y style chair. ... show more

  • Cheap for a reason
Size: 27.55D x 27.55W x 50.39H in Color: White
So I bought this chair in an attempt to improve my growing home office and to finally replace my old $40 IKEA swivel chair. Long story short: I will be returning to my $40 old chair and hopefully be able to return this HBada to get my money back at least. I ordered the chair on June 30th and it arrived July 2and in a very large, heavy, and beat up box. The outer cardboard of the main box had several holes/punctures on the bottom which were stained with some dark residue in patches about 2 inches across. It also appeared that the box had sustained some sort of crushing/compacting force during transit as one of the corners where the cardboard was thinner had nearly spit open. Disregarding all of the above I pressed on and opened up the box as cleanly as I could and set to assembling. Assembly was straightforward and not particularly difficult, there was a bit of novelty in using the included hex key due to it's odd proportions but no issues. However, it was during the assembly that I started to notice signs of poor quality control in several places. Off the bat it was apparent that the quality of plastic used in this build is very cheap, and the plastic manages to feel flimsy while looking flat and ugly. The PU leather covering on the seat and back of the chair looks substantially better, however there are several mysterious stains/residue patches on my unit that resemble grease or another industrial lubricant that can't get off. That, coupled with the mangled zipper on my seat back upholstery mean I had to attach the back to the seat while wrangling the zipper closed so the entire back wasn't popping open. I also spotted a few places where it looked like the plastic parts had been sanded/ground down accidentally at odd angles, but most of those are under the chair and out of my sight. Sitting in the chair feels decently comfy at first, and the lumbar pillow is nice and firm, but the longer I sat in it (4+ hours) the more I realized how bizarrely proportioned it was. The back of the chair is quite tall, but the piston below the seat only raises a handful of inches, and what I found is that the maximum height of the seat was still too low for me to sit and type comfortably at the lowest position on my sit-stand desk. I'm 6' and I have a longer torso proportional to most other guys, but I still found myself reaching up to my desk, which was incredibly awkward and uncomfortable for long sessions. This may have been remedied if the arm rests were positioned correctly, but due to the substantial depth of the seat my elbows could not even touch the arm rests unless I had the seat back at 90 degrees. That proved not to be a viable solution because the angle of the headrest and very firm neck pillow actually pushed me down and hunched over when seated at 90 degrees. I could go on about the uncomfortable/non-ergonomic arm rests or the foam inside the seat cusion already deforming after 5 days of very light usage, but the point is you get what you pay for. With this HBada gaming chair you're not paying a lot (relative to gaming chairs) and you're certainly not getting a lot of value in return. It doesn't feel good sitting in this chair, and I can't imagine it would feel any better after a year or more of breaking it in. I'll be attempting to return my unit, provided I can find a new box to ship it in. If that doesn't work out I'm honestly considering just tossing this thing and going back to my $40 IKEA chair. Cheers. ... show more

  • GREAT CHAIR
Size: 21.65"D x 27.55"W x 50.39"H Color: Grey
I had a gaming chair before, it was a $100 cheap gaming chair which was good at first. But after two weeks, the seat collapsed completely, leaving me feeling like I was sitting on a plank without a cushion. So I was thinking about finding a new gaming chair and get through this pandemic ”Stay at Home” period. Searching for a while to find something looks nice and affordable, this one jumps out in front of me - a nice ”Racing Style Chair”. After exploring the functions and the review of the chair, I placed the order right away. I've been using it for a month. let's talk about the chair now. It was easy to assemble, I did it by myself by following the manual and take about 20 mins only. After assembling, I checked the chair and found no damage or flaw, looked nice and solid. The chair is tall enough and wide enough for a 5'10” 160 pounds man like my husband, and it’s very stable. It’s easy to find out that the leather used in this chair is good, thought it could last long time and without any funky leather-ish smell at all. The cushion is elastic and comfy, I've been sitting on it for a month and it's still comfortable like a new one! It is much better than the chair I used before! Another practical features is that the armrest of this chair is designed adjustable , can support my arms and relax my shoulder, I appreciate it very much. I have to say that I love the RECLINE and the FOOTREST! I didn't believe it’s a good feature at first, until last night I fell asleep on this chair when watching the Allen Show, and I woke up after like an hour. It's unbelievable! I am planing to use it as my temporary bed to relax myself after working. The only thing I am not a big fan is the edges of the seat are quite high, can’t cross my leg on it! If anything else happens I'll come back and update. Overall, it is a nice chair with good value. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Watch the legs
Size: 21.65"D x 27.55"W x 50.39"H Color: Grey
The bottom 5 point support is not one piece. It has a central strut, with 5 parts that attach. There is no place to attach screws or anything to lock these into place once they are on. They are held in only by the weight of the chair pushing down. If you provide any downward force on the struts holding the wheels they will swing out of their slot and can slide forward and out when you push down on the center. That being said, customer service was very nice and prompt in addressing my concerns. I appreciate HBADA in their quick response. ... show more
