This review is for the "upgraded" version: no footrest, no 3D armrests. If you're short like me (5' 1.5"), and don't want a chair you have to scoot yourself up into, then this chair is not for you. I am returning it for this reason. I might have kept it if the seat wasn't so deep that I have to lift myself up into it and climb out of it. I love the way the cushion feels with the pocket coils; it's just too deep! (Side note for the short people [probably for everyone, really]: Go to a used office furniture dealer so you can try out some chairs and find a seat depth [and maybe a chair!] that works for you. Everything tends to be on the floor, can be tested, and you might find a great deal. I just picked up a used $2,000 chair for $200. GO.) The lumbar support is a bit too prominent for me. It doesn't go as high as I would prefer, and it doesn't recede into the back as much as I need it to. For a short person, I am long-waisted. If you are not, then this might not be an issue for you. The recline is bliss. I could have slept in this chair. If only it fit my long waist and short upper legs. If you are thinking about getting this chair and returning it if it is a poor fit: keep track of how it was packaged. Also, you might have a hard time getting the gas cylinder out of the leg base. And out of the seat base. Or you might not be able to get it out at all. If someone ever needs to replace the cylinder on this thing, I think they're going to be in for a heck of a fight. UPDATE: added a star for excellent customer service. Hbada reached out to me and offered a full refund on the product. As I said, it is a nice, comfy chair; it's just not a good fit for me. I look forward to trying the same chair with a smaller seat, if they ever produce it. ... show more
