  • 1 year and going strong!
Style: 40,000 Gallon (W3T-CELL-15) Pattern Name: TurboCell
The Hayward W3T-CELL-15 TurboCell Salt Chlorination Cell has been an excellent investment for my in-ground pool over the past year. Since installing it, I’ve had no issues, and it has consistently kept my pool’s chlorine levels perfectly balanced. The unit is easy to install, and I appreciate how low-maintenance it is compared to traditional chlorine methods. It has saved me time and hassle by automatically generating chlorine, keeping the water clean and clear. The salt chlorination system has also made the water feel much softer and more comfortable to swim in. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the Hayward TurboCell—reliable, efficient, and well worth the price! ... show more

  • Expensive but works
Style: 40,000 Gallon (W3T-CELL-15) Pattern Name: TurboCell
My original cell worked for six years. I replaced it with a generic cell that could barely keep up even when dialed all the way up. It died in a little over a year. This Hayward replacement produces enough chlorine when set about 1/3 of max. It's expensive but gets the job done.

  • Direct OEM Replacement works great
Style: 40,000 Gallon (W3T-CELL-15) Pattern Name: TurboCell
My old Hayward T15 cell died after 10 years. I researched available replacements and decided to get this Hayward OEM model, and so far I don't regret the decision. This cell was installed in less than 5 minutes, and after a quick calibration of the salt reading, it was up and running with no issues. It was literally a plug-n-play operation. Chlorine generation is strong and I am still adjusting the output a little lower each day to get it dialed in. While I can't yet evaluate the longevity of this replacement, so far I'm happy. ... show more

  • Easy install, easy operation, but be wary of pool size
Style: 15,000 Gallon (W3T-CELL-3) Pattern Name: TurboCell
I ordered this salt cell when mine failed. I have a saltwater pool of approximately 12,000 gallons and live in Central Florida. Despite the product being intended for a pool of up to 15,000 gallons, I can say that during the summertime in Florida with extremely high temperatures and lots of rain, that this actually struggled to keep up with the salt production necessary - even when turned up to 100%. During that time of peak summer intensity, I had to supplement this device’s chlorine production with a floater and some chlorine tablets. But this is temporary for probably 2 months out of the year if we have above average temps. Otherwise, this is a great product in that it is easy to install and feels fairly “plug and play”. Just remember to rest your salt control board after the install and defer to manual or YouTube videos for your setup. Controlling the chlorine levels is fairly easy. I would purchase again, or possibly size it up to the next size pool if you live in a climate like mine where you may need more salt production at certain times of year. ... show more

  • Brand New T-Cell
My saltwater pool has always stayed nearly crystal clear. It’s 23,000 gallons and I keep the salt level at 2,800 to 3,500 ppm at most. This summer I noticed it seeming cloudy while having a lot of company for 2 weeks. The salt reading was 2,600 which was a little low so I backwashed and added 4 bags of salt expecting to bring salt level to 3,400. After 24 hours I checked salt reading and it had only moved up 100 parts. 48 hours later it had risen 200 parts. Typically you can get an accurate reading by the second day. So I took a water sample to the pool store and had it read and they got a salt reading of 5,100 ppm!!! They had me go home and add 18 pounds of alkalinity and bring back a water sample after the weekend. It was still at 5,100. They said my T-Cell was bad and the part would be $860! I didn’t even know what the T-cell was so they explained where to find it. It’s right there in plain sight!!! Lol. So I went home and looked online and found that it appeared to be a pretty simple thing to do. Unplug the cell from the salt system bix, Unscrew a fitting on each end of the cell, and replace it with the new t-cell. I was pleased to find that I could buy a brand new T-cell online for less than half of what my local pool store charged. I ordered the T-cell, it arrived in a couple days, and it took me literally 15 minutes start to finish to install the new one. I was ecstatic. I had to drain some water from my pool and replace with fresh water to dilute the high concentration of salt (5100 ppm) within a week my pool was back to being crystal clear. This is the first year I’ve done the pool maintenance so I’m learning a lot this year. So glad there are companies online that offer more affordable prices for parts for pools. It’s been 3 months now and my pool is running well and still crystal clear: the directions inside the box were very clear on how to install the new T-Cell. For my particular application it recommended installing the t-cell upside down for ease of water flow but my pipe fitting leaked in one end when I did that. Simply unscrewed them, flipped it right side up, re-tightened fittings and everything worked great. Very happy with this purchase and the quality and the speed of shipping. Would definitely buy again next time the t-cell needs replacing. ... show more

  • Short life expectancy
Style: 15,000 Gallon (W3T-CELL-3) Pattern Name: TurboCell
It died after a year and a half. Took it to unauthorized service center. They confirmed that it was failing and needed to be replaced. It is still under warranty so they took my information and said they would submit it to the Hayward warranty department. They told me to expect it to take a month and a half to get a replacement if one is even available. So my pool has to go a month and a half without the ability to generate chlorine from salt. Every other warranty I’ve dealt with on other products sent me replacements within a couple days. A month and a half is insane. Hayward seems to be one of the most expensive lines available, but their products don’t last long and their warranty process is pathetic. I highly recommend you stay away from this company. ... show more

  • Fast delivery
Style: 25,000 Gallon (W3T-CELL-9) Pattern Name: TurboCell
I've had this product for over 2 months and so far I'm VERY satisfied. My last Cell lasted 7 years, hopefully this one will too. The product was delivery quickly. It was an exact replacement from Hayward. Replacing the Cell only takes 5 minutes to remove the old unit and replace it with the new Cell. The instructions included were easy to read and follow. Product registration was quick and easy to accomplish. The price was considerably lower than the one I priced at my local Pool Supply store. ... show more
