This product is the exact replacement for my salt system. I have never had any issues with this product and have purchased three times before. These units only last about 3 years and then need to be replaced. The prices has gone up but it does a great job and my pool requires a lot less maintenance on my part.

Works great, easy to install, and of much better quality than the previous version, which only lasted 3 years, just hope it lasts longer than the old model. I put a timer on it as well which is supposed to add longevity to it.

Doheny's Pool Supplies Fast. Their pricing and turnaround time are average, but more importantly, they cannot provide secure delivery fulfillment. What this means: if you order a high-priced item, as in my case, a $1099.00 Hayward Salt Cell T-15 for my pool. It was delivered by FedEx at 9:15 PM, left on the front step of my porch, and the doorbell was NOT rung at delivery. When I looked for my package delivery the next morning, it was nowhere to be found. I contacted Doheny’s Pool Supply, and they confirmed the package was delivered on the date, time & place correctly according to FedEx. They stated there was nothing else they could do and recommended I file a Police Report and file a claim with my Insurance company. Here’s the problem: they could have sent this expensive item out to me and REQUESTED a SIGNATURE at the time of delivery. This would mean the driver would not have left the package out in the open where it was visible from the street, and would not have been stolen. FedEx denied any culpability because its GPS confirmed the driver delivered the package when and where it was supposed to be delivered. This left me with my finger up my butt for the cost of the stolen salt cell, and no one to hold accountable for my loss. In merchandise ads on AMAZON, they don’t talk about or mention issues of stolen merchandise left on your porch, and AMAZON drivers DO NOT RING THE DOOR BELL at delivery. So, this means you have to fight with Amazon over responsibility for stolen merchandise. Good Luck . . .

We replaced our old cell with this one, and it’s been working great so far. It installed easily and immediately started generating chlorine without any issues. Our pool water has stayed clean and balanced since putting it in. It’s definitely not cheap, but you’re paying for the genuine Hayward quality—and in our experience, it’s worth it for the performance and longevity. Pros: • Easy install • Works right away • Keeps water clear and balanced • Genuine Hayward part Cons: • Expensive, but expected for OEM • Wish the lifespan were a bit longer for the price If you’ve got a Hayward system and want to keep things simple and reliable, this is a solid replacement.
