    • This is THE ONE you want. Best by far. Fast, durable, never gets stuck. Never.

The media could not be loaded. This is fast and has never gotten stuck, because every 15 or so seconds, it randomly spins and goes in a different direction. This checks all the "must have" boxes that everyone complains about on other cleaners. And it checks all my boxes, so no brainer. It's never gotten clogged, and given sufficient suction can climb walls. This is my second one. First lasted 4+ years, with 2 minor repairs: the rubber tires eventually wear down (about 2 years), and it has gears inside that also eventually wear down (2-3 years). Pretty easy to replace gears and away it goes. Very very happy with it especially compared to all the others I've tried, including a couple kreepy crawler types. The problem with them is I have to turn off all other pool filter lines (turn off skimmer) so they get all the suction. Also, most crawlers make noise (the Vingli was inexpensive, $80, and worked pretty good for 2 weeks then required I give it all the suction by turning off skimmer and the diaphragm it uses needs to be replaced every 200 hrs (every 25 days assuming 8 hrs per day filtering. So it was not a fit for someone who will be gone months at a time. Plus no skimmer is a deal breaker for me. But not with this cleaner! I can run out, the skimmer and a little in the infinity edge basin recycle water. It won't climb the walls with everything else on, but it still scurries all over the whole pool bottom with ease. Just put it in and forget about it. I only bought a new one after 4 years cuz I broke off an Axel when I dropped it while taking it out of pool. BUT bonus. I was able to use J.D. Weld epoxy to glue the axel back on, and the old one is back in the game and working fine, so it will be backup. Did not expect the epoxy to hold, the axel could only have glue on very end cuz it's molded to side of unit, and any excess glue would prevent the wheel from fitting. So 3 relatively minor repairs in 4 years, and still going strong. What's not to love? PROS: - can run other pump inlets and it keeps going. - does NOT get stuck (for more than 15 seconds when it spins and randomly picks new direction) - completely quiet Very happy with it, and not only would I buy it again, I just did buy another (out of concern epoxied wheel wouldn't hold, but so far it is, so I have a new one and a backup) ... show more

Well, we had a Hayward for over 8 years and researched, maybe we should try another type, electric or battery powered. We read hundreds of reviews and they all have issues of one sort or another. In the end, we went with another Hayward. It may not be perfect but it does the job----most importantly, with minimal fuss. We just put it in the pool and leave it....take it out from time to time when we remember....and it gets stuff up, leaves our pool clean enough for parties (gives a clean appearance) and swimming---in Florida so it has to work all year round. We don't have to worry about it. We can go out of town and come back to a reasonably clean pool. Note: don't be disappointed if on Day One it doesn't do a masterful job. It took 2 or 3 days for our pool (that had accumulated some debris after old Hayward slowed on cleaning)....but since then our pool has looked just about right. ... show more

We purchased this vacuum about 6 months ago. Waited a while to write a review to make sure we were really happy with it, and we are! Our pool is about 3 years old and this is our 3rd vacuum. The other two wouldn't move as well and kept getting stuck. THis vacuums never get stuck, rolls around well, turns easily, and keeps our pool clean. We brush our pool about 1-2 times/week and really only need to focus on the wet pad, bench seats, and some corners. Excellent product, would recommend it. If you have a larger pool, I would recommend buying some more hose sections, as what it comes with isn't that long. Fortunately, we had extra pieces from our previous two vacuums. ... show more

    • Very Good filtering pool cleaner

The biggest gripe is there are dozens of little nooks and crannies inside the cleaner that trap air bubbles.... the result is the cleaner does wheelies, and rides along on its side....neither of which do any cleaning... the cure is to shake while twisting the cleaner around and watch for bubbles BEFORE connecting the hose.... I try NOT to remove it from the pool... but rather hang it from a railing still fully immersed. I like the way it cleans the sides of the pool too. Only problem is occasionally it comes up so far that it draws air... and pump has..on rare occasions lost prime. It's mechanical programming seems odd sometimes spinning in circles... but really it is a great design and keeps the hose from winding up. These minor, and I stress MINOR flaws do not take away from the fact it is a very good pool vacuum and one I would not hesitate to recommend to others. ... show more

We’ve had this brand of pool sweep for many years and decided to give this new 4 wheel one a try. Within 15 minutes it had made 4 complete lengths of our backyard pool. Fingers crossed it lasts as long as the others.
