Bought this to replace an older version that stopped working and so far, this has worked like a charm. Here in Southern CA, there is a lot of dust and grit that makes it to the bottom of the pool and this handles the mess quite well, and handles the curved walls without a problem.

We love The Pool Cleaner2 by Hayward and in fact this is the 2nd 1 we have purchased; however, this 1 didn't last but 6 weeks when the upper body assembly came apart (where the hose connects to the cleaner). This is past the 30 day return window so I had to purchase the part on my own. The part looked thin and flimsy when I installed the unit but I trusted the unit. Not sure I would recommend this going forward... ... show more
