    • 1998 V6 Tacoma upgrade
1998 Tacoma V6 5vzfe I put this in my Taco as an upgrade from the stock 60A alternator. It was very simple to swap out, I’d say 3.5 beers. I used an adapter pigtail for the harness and 3 washers on the upper mounting bolt to shim it forward so the pulley grooves lined up. I then put a slightly larger belt in (V6 power steering belt) to compensate for the slightly larger profile. While this is a tight fit it’s also a very cheap option for 3x the amp output. ... show more
