  • The tolerances could be better
Let me start off by saying I am 6'3 and weigh about 350 lb. It took me about two and a half hours to build with my partner. I come from a background of construction and assembly in various trades. My partner does not. TLDR: pretty quick assembly if you know what you're doing and some of the visual aids and tolerances for the bolts could be better. Had immediate relief on my first use The instructions are clearly labeled and have mostly nice visuals. They could be better when it comes to the bar that the height adjustment rests on. I had to uninstall and turn it around after moving on a step or two. Some of the holes and bolts don't line up 100%, making them a little difficult to turn with an Allen wrench. I strongly suggest getting a drill and the appropriate two bit sizes you'll need to replace the Allen wrenchs and/or a Ratchet wrench to speed up the process. The instructions don't explicitly state this but just in case when you are starting the first two or three steps. Do not tighten the bolts 100%. I just got them started as I was going along and when everything was in place I started working my way backwards in the step process tightening them to 100%. That lets you get everything in alignment ensuring nothing is going to be spread too far apart or anything like that. Lastly, the height adjustment is not exact. I said it for my height and I was unable to freely invert myself. I had to shorten it by about 2 in to allow myself independent inversion. That could be due to my proportions and how my weight is spread across my body but wanted to let you know ... show more

  • This is a good heavy duty product
I have lower back pain. My orthopedic doctor has recommended this particular model and my cardiologist cleared me to use it no more that 2 minutes twice a day. It is not a cure all for my back but it does help to use it couple times a day. It takes a little patience to put together but the average person can do it alone. I did it by myself while taking my time in about three hours. I weigh about 265 pounds and it easily handles my weight and seems very solidly built. ... show more

  • Tall
I’m 6’-8” 300#. Works fine for me. It would be a little short at full vertical but works fine at the other two settings.

  • HARISON Heavy Duty Inversion Table vs. Teeter FitSpine X2
I owned a teeter FitSpine x2 and returned it. I am slim 5"10 and 145 lbs. On the teeter It was painful against the table when inverted because it didn't have any cushioning even though just for 15 seconds or so. The ankle support had noticeable pain to use too. When I got on this Harison inversion table the first thing I notice was the table was much more comfortable to use and the ankle support was softer and offered more cushioning. I like the looks of this frame better than the teeter A frame design. The Teeter table was high quality too as for the part where the bed attached to the left and right post of the frame. the Harrison also has some locking pegs if you want to use or not to assign a specific inverted angle to put at stops. the teeter did not have this feature. overall I would buy this table over the teeter for the comfort and looks of not having an A frame design look. another point of ergonomics is how the area below the ankle/foot atachement allows more space to step into when mounting yourself on the inverter table. the harrison is more open and the teeter is more congested which can be awkward as for me that I wear large size 11 mens shoes. I am very happy with this machine and could not find a single thing bad about it. The teeter wins hands down with easy of assembly. however since you only do this once and the Harrison may take a bit longer than teeter to assemble it is not relevant to consider this task of assembly worthy of deciding which to buy overall. The Harrison assembly direction is in small print but label of all the fastener where they go are top notch and well instructed. I cannot find anything I dislike about Harrison table but I did find I did not like the teeter for the hard table surface and the ankle support was more painful for me. ... show more

  • Bad design and quarter inch wood.
Frame seemed solid when first bought. I figured this would be a heavy duty unit. Unit lasted 3 months until it broke. There are some engineering problems rederong this unit unsafe: 1. Welding is not full welds. They are Welded partially and not on all sides. Additionally, the welds are not completed on the side of panel. Obviously, these were not QA checked. I'll admit I am at the weight limit of this machine (about 20 pounds over). However the welds are partial welds, and if done properly that wouldn't have been an issue. 2. The panel is only quarter inch plywood and two holes weren't even drilled for the back panel! 3. The panel bracing has a single point of failure and the panel stop creates a torsion effect on already weak welds. The inversion stop is just a metal screw insert on one side, so when you invert, the stop puts all the pressure one one side and creates a torsion effect which will eventually break the bad welds even if you are even close to limit. 3. Customer service is not great. I would avoid this vendor and seek a different vendor with a better engineered table. ... show more

  • If high quality is important to you . . .
So glad to have chosen this Harison from the many other inversion tables available. It’s remarkably well-designed, and it’s method of holding your ankles is incredibly comfortable and easy to operate with one hand. Of course it costs more than most of the others . . . just the quality of the materials makes it worth the extra cost. 5 stars for quality, ease of use, and comfort, as well as how good it looks. ... show more

  • Product broke | landed on head | Seriously Injured
Update: Harrison has reached out to me and is working with me to make things right. They assure me that they are making changes to the design due to my fall and will send me the updated design to test out. I appreciate their effort and will update this review at each stage. Do not buy!!! The inversion table broke while I was hanging upside down at a 90° angle and I landed on my head this week. I had only had the product for six months when I tried to contact Harrison with that the only phone number that Amazon provides it disconnected every time I called! This means there’s no warranty support at a very minimum. I was even unable to contact Amazon about this which I believe is a bit troubling! ... show more
