I have been using Harfo locks for my office for a few years now. It has good fingerprint capture and a long battery life. This is the only lock I have found where it can easily be put in passage mode by pressing the lock icon on the display while it is flashing after it has been unlocked, without having to go into the settings each time to do this (the setting for this is user limit-off- passage mode off- it can be a little hard to understand this on the manual). This makes it easy for employees to leave the door unlocked during business hours and tapping out with their keycard at the end of the day to lock it. It has a small but effective OLED screen that displays the settings making it easy to navigate to make changes. It has voice guidance as well, which I prefer to turn off. Adding users is very simple from the lock itself. If anyone has difficulty registering a fingerprint or using it to unlock I just program a RFID card- 3 are included with the lock purchase. I had problems with my lock and emailed customer service from the information included in the manual, they responded the next day and shipped a replacement. They do not have live customer service, and keeping track of the users requires writing it down, but I find that is not a problem. The replacement lock they sent me is improved from the original one I purchased- it has 3 bolts on the outside lock that fit into the hole for the latch to connnect to the backplate instead of two and one that goes through the door, so do not need to drill a hole in the door anymore. Also the reversible handle used to be secured with a single set screw on the side, but that left it wobbly and prone to coming loose over time. Now it is secured with two phillips screws under the removable magnetic plate and is much more secure. Just remember to have the physical key on your keychain or in a secure place as a backup in case the lock fails. I see they now have a bluetooth version now, which helps for programming and keeping track of the users. I find bluetooth can be slow to respond each time , no matter which brand of lock you use, and the wifii gateways can be frustrating for remote access, so I am happy with the way this lock works from the on screen menu for my needs.

We have purchased many of these door locks for indoor use at our six facilities over the last year or so. They work great so far and are much more convenient than using a key. Recently one malfunctioned, it would accept the code but not release the lock. I contacted customer service via email and I received an immediate response and in just a few days a replacement under the 12 month warranty. I was both astounded and pleased with the customer service. I did not personally install as we have onsite maintenance so cannot attest to the installation process. Would highly recommend.

Product works great with finger print, FOB, and Passcode inputs. Battery life has exceeded beyond expectations. Looks great and very modern. However - there is no 5G compatible Gateway for me to link Alexa and the Door Lock. Ensure your wifi is at 2.4Ghz before purchasing gateway for Alexa compatibility. Easy to install, but setup could be a bit better. Would recommend this product!

If you have a steel door you will need to have a multi-tool and experience on hand to install this lock. I had to use a multi tool with a carbide bit to carve out the steel to accommodate the bolt and face plate. The drill bit included was a breeze to use. I was able to drill through the steel door and wood without any problems. As far as the lock goes, it looks and feels very heavy duty (e.g., it has quite a bit of weight to it). The instructions need to be re written by a native English speaker, although I was still able to figure things out without needing to call their customer service. Programming users was a breeze. Please note that each finger print, combination lock , or proxy card counts as one "user". There is no way to program usernames and associated authentication methods. For the 300 authentication slots that are available, essentially each slot is a "user". So if you program 2 fingers, 2 passwords, and 2 key fobs, that's 6 users! Each is counted as a "different" user. I wish it had the ability to add username and then associate many authentication methods for that username. As it stands rights now you would need to keep a log on a spreadsheet for each authentication method and who has been assigned to that fob, fingerprint, etc. The fingerprint reader can often be hit or miss, but this is more of a user problem. You need to be consistent with how you place your finger on the device. It is always best to press slightly on the fingerprint while programming and using it for best results. Accessing the emergency key hole is an absolute breeze; it was definitely well thought out. I love the fact that after you enter the house it immediately locks the door behind you. I no longer have to worry about my wife leaving the front door unlocked when she is alone at home. Once you get the hang of operating this lock you will quickly realize that it was a great investment for your safety and easy access. Giving your pet sitter a temporary code is also easy. You have the ability to create single use pass codes. The price is just right. Other vendors should take notice and reduce their ridiculously high prices for their locks with half the features. I am not too fond of the Echo or Google home controlled locks...that is seriously asking for trouble. This lock is a great option unless you really need that ability to remote unlock it, have a built-in alarm, have a camera built in, or the ability to interface it with your phone to look at authentication logs or to program it. Having said that, programming it on site was a breeze. I plan to purchase more in the future as long as the price stays within reason. I'm really enjoying this purchase.

This is a great quality product. I've had this on my door for a few months now and have had no issues with it. I love the bronze finish. Its finger print reading technology has worked every time. The app is easy to use and I like that I can add a temporary password for guests.
