We have a 45lb Boxer that loves rough housing with my sister's 90lb German Sheppard. Unfortunately, that's led to a number of neck wounds, since the German Sheppard (GS) goes for the neck and doesn't know how to dial back on biting too hard. This was meant to discourage neck biting, but due to safety reasons (The GS tends to ram her face into the spiked collar and we don't want her to poke her eye out) we'll be switching to a neck brace. However, if we ever have to go for a walk in a sketchy neighborhood, I'd want my dog to have that spiked collar on to prevent any strays from mauling her. Ppl will buy this for there own reason’s. I bough this to protect my boys neck. Ppl’s dogs are always getting away from them, where I live. The with is perfect, the spike count is on point, the thickness is on point. However very poor quantity leather, and fabric. I’ll be surprised if it last a year. This collar is super cute, but way too sharp!! Also it was very big even on the smallest hole and according to the measurements should've fit perfectly. So it runs larger, and its very wide. I have a cane Corso and it covered her whole neck! But again, very cute! Just dangerous and not a good fit for my dog. ... show more

Got this for my DOBERMAN...looks intimidating and I love that but it's not real leather and tends to turn unless leashed. Making it tighter to prevent this? Was too tight . Looks good though!
