They are quiet enough that it doesn't frighten the dogs. So far I like the way it cuts and it works pretty well. Sometimes it won't go through hair with a guard on it. I worry about what happens when the blades get dull. If replacements aren't available then it becomes worthless. But until then...

Clippers in itself are great for shaving and trimming my 2 little long hair dogs. ** Down side, the back metal trimming plate gets hot, and quickly at that. It did blister 1 of my dogs. So, yes they cut like butter, low noise. Easy to handle, with my small hands. Last 2 years I have gone through 6 of the cordless pet Clippers. Bought this Hansprou pet clipper on Jan 14th 2024 and used it on our small dog about a week later. The clipper worked very well! About 5 weeks later our dog needed another trim and the clipper did not work at all!! Contacted Amazon and was told that more than 30 days had past and nothing Amazon could do to fix this. I contacted Hansprou and their text message said not to worry and they would get back to us. However, after several contacts they asked for more info like order number, dates, description of the problem, I gave them their answers, and then No more has been heard from them after 3 more weeks!!!! Very poor service from all concerned!!!! This is a followup to my earlier text where I complained about the poor service from the Hansprou dog clipper people. They sent texts back and forth asking for details. They finally sent us new clipper and works fine. I recommend these people for a very good clipper and their patience with us. ... show more

I had low hopes as the last pair of dog clippers I purchased really didn’t work on Maltese hair but let me tell you! This thing is insanely good! Look at him!
