Let me start by saying I was a mechanic on fighter jets for 28 years, so I'm not new at mechanics. I started by putting the loveseat together. I followed all the directions and did not tighten any of the screws. Once it was assembled I started tightening the screws. When I tightened the second from last screw, the loveseat rocked back and forth. I loosened all the screws and tightened them in a different order. When I got to same screw as before the loveseat rocked again. At that point I took the seat bottom off and put down on a level surface. Needless to say the seat bottom was not level, it was off by 2 inches. It would be difficult to send back, so in the end I had to leave 2 screws out on the seat bottom. In the process of putting it together one of holes in the seat bottom was stripped. I had to drill my own hole and put a sheet metal screw in. One of the chairs did not line up either, and after several tries I stripped another screw and had to put my own in. Make sure all the parts are level before putting it together, and keep all the screws very loose before tightening. On another note the chairs rock not glide. ... show more

Received this yesterday....5 days earlier than expected! Took my husband and I about one hour to put together. Do yourself a favor though....make sure you have a ratchet set. We used ours because the tools provided would have taken us all night. This is our second Hanover set, and I’m very pleased. Super comfy, and just what I wanted for our vacation home’s screen porch. ... show more

The set is very attractive & very comfortable. Problem is the 2 rocker chairs after you sit in, leaves a dip where you were sitting. This started immediately after sitting in them. We are not overweight people. We have flipped the bottom cushion,but it happens on both sides. The loveseat hasn’t done that. So disappointed in the quality of cushion material. First picture is before sitting in the rocker. Second picture is sitting for about 5 min. Hate to see how it’s going to look like after a few months. ... show more

This is the most I ever paid for a patio set. The part that holds the legs together under the table was bent. I called and reported. I called 9 days later because there were holes in the back cushion for a chair and asked the status of the original claim. They hadn't gotten to it yet because of a computer glitch. Unfortunately, that will bring us to the end of when we can return it. I will be happy to upgrade my rating when things are fixed but I fear this may not go well. Ordered vintage meadows. This color looked like a beige or a color in the "brown" family on-line. However, I should have known by the descriptive name "vintage meadow"..It's green. It's a soft green but I have nothing green in my house or on my covered porch. I purchased some brown seat covers from Amazon and am going to cover the green cushions. Also, the cushions are not filled as much as needed, They look like they could have been purchased at the dollar store. If filled to capacity, they would look so expensive. I purchased this set 2 years ago.We have it in our screened in porch so it is protected from the weather.I feel the cushion could be filled more,they leave a wrinkle in the fabric when you get up they are a bit flimsy.On one of the cushions the seam is comming apart. I looked up the warranty and it was 1 year from date of purchase.The cushions need to be redesigned. ... show more

Love this set. Purchased the Ocean color. It is the perfect set, well made and heavy. The only reason for the four star (I would have given 4.5 stars) you get 2 wrenches for love seat, 2 wrenches for chairs, 2 wrenches for table, instead of packing all those wrenches Hanover should pack the nut attachments you can put on your drill ( you would need two different sizes) which cut the assembling time to about 35 minutes or less after unwrapping everything. The items are wrapped perfectly to prevent damage. It is a beautiful set. ... show more
