We ordered this unit for our patio to increase seasonal use. The picture on the site shows it mounted near the peak of a house with wood siding/ceiling. It is an extremely solid unit which was impressive, thus the 4 rating. However, installation instructions say it must be mounted 24" down from combustible ceiling (unlike picture). Nice looking and I really wish I could love it. But you have to be standing right under it to really feel the heat. Even sitting right under it, the heat doesn't really reach you much. Wish it was about a foot shorter.
