This is the most comfy mattress pad ever, but should not be used as a dog bed cover. I purchased this as a pet cover for long term use when covering a guest bed that my dog likes to use as well. I liked the full cover protection and fitted feature so it would stay put!! When I actually used it as a pet cover a few weeks after it arrived, the dog hair and debri mixed with the soft pile of the cover and I can't remove the hair. Then I read the positive reviews and discovered that this is a MATTRESS pad, not a pet protective cover!! So, I have amended my review because the company offered me a FULL refund without returning the product, without question. This is clearly my mistake and I should not have purchased it as a pet bed cover. However, when I am in need of a new mattress cover, I will certainly choose this one. Made of a quality material, much nicer than other mattress covers I have bought in the past. Love the gray color rather than having a white one. The sides are nice and deep making it easy to put on. It stretched tight and stays in place when putting a fitted sheet over it.

Edit: Seller reached out and addressed my concerns, we came to a great agreement i changed this from a 2, to a 4 star rating based on sellers response alone. Very pleased! First off. I really like how quick this was to put on. It fit my 18 inch thick bed perfectly and seems to stay. I got this to protect from wet dog paws (our dog loves to play in mud and come give cuddle). But mor importantly to protect our from the nights our kids have nightmares. Only had this one day, but my Son who has a surprisingly large bladder for a 7 y.o. Tested this out immediately. In the middle of the night, so it was not discovered until morning. As this is a brand new, 2,000 dollar mattress. I immediately checked, unfortunately it did seep through. Not as bad as if it had nothing at all.. but I am still a little disappointed. It did however stand up great to my dogs massive muddy paws, so there's that lol. ... show more

Absolutely fantastic mattress protector! The lid of my hot water bottle came loose in the bed and i didn't notice it for probably at least 5 minutes, maybe longer. There was a pool of water on tip, but my mattress stayed completely dry. I highly recommend buying one!

Beautiful Quality. I love it. My dogs have been sick, had accidents, and drooled on my bed. This mattress protector doesn't not give up, even after being washed. Super soft. Would buy again and again. Worth every penny Be careful with large agitator washers.
