  • So easy!
I bought this for my classroom to hold a pod swing. It holds my 120 pound self just fine while gently swinging. If swinging gets a little too rambunctious, the stand WILL tip over forward. Easiest set up of a huge stand so I was pleasantly surprised about that! Love it. Edit- I sliced openings in pool noodles to use as bumpers on the poles of this stand for extra precaution since this is in a classroom. Works perfectly! Just use duct tape to secure the noodles. ... show more

  • Perfect
We bought this stand for our sons swing. It works wonderfully with it. The stand does take up a bit of space inside but that is fine for us. We love it and are 100% satisfied with it. The photo is of the swing we bought to go with it.

  • Love it
Sturdy, good looking, tall enough for my hammock seat, and easy to put together (I'm a 60+ grandmother and did it all by myself in about 15 minutes). Definitely worth the price. I'm very happy with this purchase.

  • Very bulky but would be good for outdoors
I like it, it holds my hammock chair just like it should. Only drawback for me was that it is very big and bulky. Setup was a breeze as long as you follow instructions but if you plan to use it indoors as I did it takes up a lot of space.

  • I decided on this one because it seemed to be just as good or the same as the higher priced stands
The company I work for gave me a hammock chair for my 5 year work anniversary. I had to buy myself the stand. After looking at all of the other stands, reviews, etc., I decided on this one because it seemed to be just as good or the same as the higher priced stands. I didn't want to pay over $100 for a stand, so I chose this one. I am very, very pleased. Easy to put together and it holds my huge hammock chair with me and my 2 small dogs. My son helped put it together & we both sat on the hammock chair to see if it would hold. Works perfectly! Moving the stand is a little tricky because it falls apart; so, if you want to move it, just take off the top and the sides and move it, and then easily put it back together. Great stand! ... show more

  • Squeaky 😖
I got this so that way I could hang my hammock inside, being able to gently sway while reading (without squeaking) I understand metal squeaks but it’s annoying and their should be some plastic to rub on instead of metal on metal

  • Blows over easily
Decently priced and stable when someone's sitting in the hammock chair - but when the chair is empty, even a slight outdoor wind blows it over. It has crashed on the brick patio 3 times now, so I brought it inside to avoid more scrapes and dings. I live in Chicago - which really isn't windy - so I can imagine that it would get easily wrecked somewhere with regular strong breezes. I'm now trying to figure out a non-ugly way to stabilize it with sandbags. ... show more

  • Everyone's favorite spot!
This chair makes our back porch everyone's favorite spot in the house. You will need assistance putting the stand together! I couldn't do it alone, but with a little help it wasn't an issue. It's not difficult or heavy, just awkward and a bit bulky to move around. If you have small/rambunctious children supervise them on this chair! If they swing too hard the top piece will disconnect from the rest of the frame, it happened to my 7 year old, he didn't fall or get hurt, but it scared him (rightfully so). It is not meant to swing hard or high on. I have found that keeping the chair at it's lowest height keeps that from being an issue. The height is easily adjusted. ... show more
