  • Very much so worth the money
I have had this product for about three years and gotten tons of use out of it. As an avid kayak fisherman, I have used it to transport my kayak on two different sedans with no roof racks or rails (a chevy cobalt and a hyundai elantra). There is no damage to the vehicles from it and the product is very well made, and still looks and works like it is brand new. It holds the weight if a kayak very well, easy to use, never loses any air. Sometimes I inflate it the night before and set my kayak up for early morning fishing trips, and even holding that weight overnight it is perfectly fine. Made many long trips with this, high quality material, exactly as advertised. Would recommend. ... show more

  • Inexpensive way to cart your kayak around on most sedans.
We got the Coosa X kayak (wide for tall and bigger people) and we purchased these soft roof racks to avoid installing something more expensive. We actually bought 2 sets to use 3 and add more padding because we have a sunroof. The car is older and it's a perfect solution to cart your kayak around. The straps are a bit short for wider sedans and bigger kayaks, but they work. If you leave them on your car when it's raining, the car interior might get wet. Normally when your on the water with your kayak, the straps are in the car. However, we have it locked up on the roof so that its so much faster in the early morning - so when it rains, it follows the straps down into the car. ... show more

  • Works for kayak
I love that it’s removable . It’s easy to put on. I just leave it inflated and store them behind my door in my house on a hook. It held my kayak fine. I went on the highway too. I was even able to slide it up there by myself. I put a blanket on the side of the car and then leaned it against the car and slid it up there …. You can see the kayak out your front window while driving so you don’t have to fear if it’s falling off, you can see it. ... show more

  • Removable
I like that it's a low profile rack also can be taken off without a hassle.

  • So useful and works great!
Really easy to install and maintain. I put furniture and a kayak on the roof or my accord and its a lot cheaper and easier to use that getting something permanently installed that puts holes in your car. You will need to know how to tie some knots because you cant just strap it on and go. You need to tie the front and back to make sure it wont fly off at high speeds. It does come with the cords to tie down though which is great. Be sure your roof and the inflatable rack are clean though because shifting it around with sand underneath it is like sanding your car. But that is an user issue not a product issue IMO ... show more

  • Genius!
Used this product for transporting 3 packed ski bags on top of SUV when the rental company didn’t have ski racks as an option (ski rack would have cost the same amount as purchasing the product). Worked as advertised and no damage to our rental either. Pretty neat roof top carrier! Will likely use this for every trip and stop paying extra with each car rental. (Although fair warning, the car rental companies will tell you it’s not allowed ) ... show more

  • Canoe Buyers Beware
If you are using this to carry a canoe. You will be pushing the size limit of the pads. As you can see, the canoe in the middle is on the very edge of the pad. Also, if your canoe has a cross bar going across the middle of the canoe. The bar will be less than an inch away from the roof or sunroof of the car. The canoe did in fact make it a hour to a lake and an hour back from a lake. My canoe is a 15.6 foot long and weighs 78 pounds. If I had the choice I wouldn’t use the again to carry a canoe. Maybe something smaller like a kayak or surf board. ... show more
