TLDR: 1) Love the product, 2) had a major issue, 3) seller resolved issue and replaced under warranty immediately, 4) back in action and love the product! Full version: Love this product and it is a massive upgrade to keep my hot tub clean. I have one of those inflatable tubs, larger size (300 gallons) and the 110v pump/heater just doesn't move enough water through the filters to keep it clean. I was always trying to get dirt and debris off the bottom. This pool cleaner is PERFECT for the job. I do a quick vacuum almost every time I use the tub and it cleans up all the dirt and debris plus all the invisible stuff that floats to the bottom after sanitizing the water. Even better - you can get the vacuum into the some of the tight spaces along the inside edge along the bottom and clean up the areas where algae hides. This alone has helped me keep the water cleaner for longer. It's also helped me to recover water after some parties where there was a lot of people and the regular filters can't keep up. Now I'm able to sanitize the water and then get all of the junk out of the water by vacuuming the bottom and edges. Now - I did have a major issue after just 6 weeks. The pump housing separated from the main housing (in the diagram it is labeled 'Host'. This is supposed to be a single contained unit but you can see in the pictures that it started to separate. I think there is an internal plastic retaining piece that broke but I can't verify. However, once the separation occurred, the impeller blades on the pump started to hit the sides of the housing and it would stop spinning, and then the motor would shut off. I don't know if this was a manufacturing defect or design flaw - but it seems like there could be a design issue because this is a probably a weak connection point and when you have the rest of the assembly with filter, and end unit attached, there is a lot more weight and tension all concentrated on this connection point. The good news is that I was able to show this to the Mr Pool team via a message and they immediately replaced the defective unit. I wasn't expecting the speed of response and speed of action - and they exceeded all expectations in fixing the issue. Highly recommend the product and Mr Pool team

I use this in my 1600G koi pond. For the price point it is pretty good. It has to be submerged pretty deep to work. The finger can be tricky getting out, the first time I used it I flung pond scum all over myself. But I love this vaccum, very light and easy to use, nothing complicated and good price.

So this little thing works pretty well for our 15x42 above ground pool. The battery life is good, i use this twice a week and it never dies, after the second time it gets plugged back in. Small filter cartridge, and not really easy to empty. So theres a lot of start and stop. But its better than the cheap syphon style vacuums . Would recommend to others .

I used this vacuum on my pond. I am doing a review to let you know it will pick up dead algae. Now do you have to clean it frequently... yes because the age is dense. What I mean by that is you have to clean it about 2 minutes after you suck up the algae because it will not suck anymore. This cleaner is great and it's probably not meant to use on a pond but it does work. It's also very easy to wash and assemble and the sucking power is pretty good.

Absolutely the best hand held vacuum for your pool! The first one I got kept cutting off. They sent me a new one and I am so happy that I gave it a chance before I just returned it and chose a different kind! This vacuum sucks up everything from dirt, hair and the smallest insects in the bottom of your pool!! This is a must buy. I enjoy using it every morning before we swim.
