This one was priced within my budget and works beautifully. Storage is minimal with the pull out holder for the attachments and the wrap around cord. Seems to work well. I’ve only used it for cake batter. The speed on it is a tad wild. I think another reviewer said it’s a little hard to get used to the control, that it is easy to accidentally turn it up to 3. My advice is to kind of hand stir in the dry ingredients in so they are basically before turning this on, even at 1, because otherwise you will kick up a dust cloud of flour and sugar. But… for a little device under 15 bucks, it beats a whisk. Oh. Pun! :)

I was looking for an electric tool to mix my son's natural sunflower seed butter (he's peanut allergic). We go through a lot of it and mixing it by hand gets tiresome. This tool is perfect! It has a small spiral attachment. I use one spiral mixer, put a slit big enough to insert it in the protective covering that comes on the nut butter and mix (this prevents splattering). Peel cover off when fully mixed. Such a time saver. I can't speak yet to the longevity of the tool but it's small size is perfect for this purpose. Love it so far!

The thumb control takes some getting used to; doesn’t take much to shoot it up to 3 without meaning to. Also, I think speed 1 might be a little too strong; if you’re adding dry ingredients you need a slower dpeed to stir them in before you ramp it up. *EDIT: After using this for awhile, I find myself definitely annoyed with the excessive speed on the lowest setting. No chance to turn it down and lift tge beaters slowly to get excess batter off them without flinging it all over the kitchen.

If you're looking for a mixer that is not expensive and one you van use on the go then go ahead. If you need one that's a bit more professional then this one is not for you. It has great speed but can be messy even on the first setting.

After reading all these 5 star reviews, I fully expected this mixer to be a normal working mixer with no issues. That was not the case. I am unsure why it has different speed settings because each speed is exactly the same. Every time I have used it, it smells like the motor is burning. I have used it to make mashed potatoes and peanut butter cookies and you’d think I had used it to mix concrete. It sounded like it was going to die and struggled mixing fluffy mashed potatoes. It’s a dang hand mixer and it has one job, which is to mix and it failed miserably!! Do yourself a favor and go to your store of choice and pick up one there. I assure you it will work better.
