Box came all banged up but the mixer and parts seem unaffected. Feels good in the hand, nice and solid. But you better use a deep bowl or hold the mixer with the nose down to keep your contents in the bowl because when it is turned on to speed 1 it is at about 80% full speed. You can barely notice any change to speeds 2 - 5. It is powerful. I bought it for making bread and it handled mixing a single loaf with ease. It is powerful and did the job with ease. Now that I have used it a few times I know to used a deeper bowl than usual and angle the nose way down to keep things in the bowl. April 2, 2021. I am appalled by this company. They Have reached out and offered to pay me to change or remove my neg review. I am very surprised that Amazon allows this. I can't help but think that if Amazon does allow this practice to occur then it's whole believability to offer the best products fairly is out the window. I returned the mixer that only ran on high speed and decrease my stars to a 1 because in my 63 years no company has stooped so low as to actually offer me money to be dishonest. I wouldn't trust them at all. If Amazon does allow this practice shame on them. And if someone thinks I am making this up I have multiple emails to prove it.

Only giving 4 stars because it didn’t come with the storage part and that’s literally the only reason I made this purchase lol :/ other than that it works great and I do agree the first setting is mad fast but it no way whatsoever did it cause me to make a mess of any sort. This is the cutest little mixer for our college girl's house. It doesn't get too hot, even when mixing for over 10-15 minutes. The cord is long enough to reach any counter space, but short enough to not be in the way. It is easy and small enough to store.

Everything was getting bunched up and stuck in the whisks causing the mixer to slow down and groan. increasing its speed did nothing; as everyone else stated, the mixer should might as well only have two switches and that is on/off because there is little to no difference in the speeds. And nearly the end of making the frosting, the mixer was heated up like crazy while emitting this “factory smell” and didn’t turn on, fortunately I waited a minute or two and then it turned back on (which I guess it means it has a built in overheating system, I guess?). But luckily everything turned out good in the end. So why did I specify I was making cream cheese frosting with this? Because it shows that this mixer is not the best when tasked with mixing thick ingredients together. The mixer’s small size(and thus it’s small rotor) is too weak and it’s performance will be the equivalent of a tiny car going up an 80 degree hill. It’s also why I really don’t think those dough hooks should be put to use with this mixer, it might legitimately cause the thing to blow up lol. For its price I will say that it’s good enough but if you could splurge a bit I would say you should get a bigger better one.
