I have only had the case for two days now, but so far I really like it. This is my first "rugged" case for any laptop I've had. I bought it for a new M1 MacBook Pro 13". I looked at other popular name brands, and I just wasn't going to pay $55-$80 or more. It was simple to put on, seems to provide a good deal of protection (again I've only had it for a short time), and I think it looks good. This may be a minus for others, but for me it's a plus. The small tabs on the sides that clip to the computer to hold it in leave a very small space when the lid closes. While this may allow some dirt or dust in, it protects the screen against any particles that may touch the screen (and possibly scratch it) while the lid is closed. I also like the weight that it adds to the lid. With the new M1 MacBook Pro's, the lid was considerably lighter than my 2015 model, and it was awkward for me to open and close it. It just felt too delicate. With the computer in the case, it feels very strong and easy to open. The only things to watch out for are of course, dirt and particles getting trapped between the case and the computer. Definitely take your computer out and clean it and the case every so often. Also, and this is important, when installing the top portion of the case to the lid, be very careful not to squeeze hard, or just press the case lid down onto the top of the computer while it is shut. Make sure the lid is open, and when you put the upper case on, be aware of the placement of the tabs. Gently press down on the case and the computer lid just at the side of each tab until it clicks. Do that for each individual tab, don't just press down the entire upper case on the computer lid. Too much force may damage your screen. It's very easy to do, if you do the tabs one by one. Pros: - Looks great. - Very easy to put on. - Adds the right amount of weight and heft to the computer (especially the lid), although this may be a con to others. - Seems like it will offer a good amount of protection against drops, which I need because I am always accidentally letting my computer slide off the couch onto the floor. - Decent price for the amount of protection Cons: - If you aren't careful while installing, especially with the top portion, you could accidentally damage your screen. - I think it would offer more protection if the black (rubber material?) of the case was a bit more flexible like most of the rugged iPhone cases. I think this would offer more protection against damage from drops. However, this is just my thinking, I'm not an engineer, so it may be the perfect strength. I hope I never have to find out. If I could, I would give it 4.5 stars because of the hardness of the black rubber material. However, this may not even be an issue, so I will keep my rating at 5 stars. I also gave it 4/5 stars for durability because I haven't had it long enough to judge. I certainly looks an feels durable. If anything changes over time, I update my rating and explain why. Also, I took 4 photos to explain certain things of my review, however, I am getting an error no matter what picture or product I try to attach pictures to. Amazon says they are working on the issue and will let me know. As soon as I can upload pictures, I will. I hope this review helps someone in deciding whether to purchase this case or not.

The media could not be loaded. Mosiso Protective Case for Macbook Pro M1 Great protection. Will buy again b/c this one is obviously USED!!!! Purchase date & price paid: $31.26 (after taxes) on February 9, 2024. Current price is same on Feb 14, 2024. Why I purchased the product? I purchased this product because I want to protect my new (used) MacBook Pro M1 laptop. How many of us wait until we get our hardcases for our technical gadgets BEFORE we open them? I have always done this for all my smartphones and super expensive mobile computer gadgets (iPad, iPod, laptops). Product specific information: a. Features: Firmly-fitting hardcase for a Macbook Pro M1 13 inch laptop. Has everything I am looking for in a hard case for my expensive laptop. Please see the listing for the full range of features. b. Quality (1-10) For what it does, it deserves a 10. But I have to return this specific product because it has signs of obvious pre-use. Because of this fact, I'd give this specific product a 7. c. Comparisons with other products - why I chose this one? I chose this product for two reasons: Price and style. The price, while high to me for a plastic case, is the same or lower than its competitors. Then there's its style: The look this case shows is what I wanted my own Macbook Pro to look like when I bring it into a business meeting with one of my clients. Shipping experience? The reason I love Amazon so much is the shipping, customer service, and range of products. The shipping on this item was extremely fast - if I remember correctly it took two days to be delivered to my home. Return experience? I'm not happy that the product I purchased has scratches and weird leafy-like patterns on it (see clearly marked photos), but since I'm going to immediately buy the exact same case after I return this, I have no really bad thoughts on it. Amazon is the company that does the returns. I love Amazon, so I know the return will be super easy. I plan on purchasing a different color. I don't the same case coming back to me again. The Good High quality. Good & solid build. Case clips to laptop in all the right places. The Bad Besides from the scratches, I like this hardcase. The Ugly Can't believe I received a used product when I purchased a "New" product. I wonder what's going on? Final Critique/Would I recommend this product? Yes, I would recommend this product to anyone interested in the above points I've made. Stay tuned for my 2nd review of this product in a few days from now. HOPEFULLY I'll receive a brand new hardcase. One thing I just remembered was that when I initially opened the box, one of the flaps (is that what you call it?) looked like it had been previously opened.
