I bought this for my Herman Miller Mirra Gray Chair and after sewing the elastic cord end to end I was able to stretch it over the seat. I know it was not made for the Mirra, but it is much thicker and a better fabric than other chair covers on this site. I bought it to discourage any scratching of the seat by my new cat. I encourage anyone with a Herman Miller Sayl chair to buy one (or more) of these covers. Mine fits absolutely perfect and it hasn’t lost its softness or shape after several machine washes. The product is quite nice, the fabric on my Sayl is coming apart and this hides it quite nicely. It’s also pretty soft but one thing to note is that it isn’t super super accurate so it won’t lie flush with the seat cushion. Another thing to note is that the fabric is made so that it’s two different colors depending on how you’ve moved it. You can just fix it by brushing it in one direction but if this bothers you it’s something to note. ... show more

I'm disappointed. I bought this because my Sayl chair is great in every way except the seat had a small stain that probably no one else could see but me, but it bothered me. I tried other covers and was always disappointed; they looked cheap or ill-fitting. When I ran across this one, made specifically for my chair, I was elated. BUT--it fits too tightly. Every other day, I am having to refit it to the seat because it inevitably pops off. I'll keep it, but if you're considering buying this, I would suggest you think twice. ... show more
