You can choose the level of darkness or lightness of your bread. Also toast bagels as well. Sometimes when the toast pops up it jumps out the toaster, my garbage can is near the counter and one time it flew right into the garbage can. Doesn’t happen as often, still a cool toaster

This has been a very solid toaster. With consistent use, it finally is on its last leg - one of the heating elements somehow got displaced and is dangling. My parents always buy super deluxe toasters and I swear they have a sad story about why they had to get the “new” one every two years. In looking for a replacement, Amazon reminded me that I purchased this previously. Four years with no complaints seems pretty reasonable and I’m replacing it with the same thing.
