I bought this after throwing away 3 strings of christmas lights for the 3rd year. Several of my neighbors had bought these for Christmas decorating their houses. I initially went to my local "Big Box Store" to buy one but I couldn't find any as all the stores I checked were sold out. I bought this through Amazon, and it pretty much lives up to the advertisement in all areas except one. Brightness. Even on a very dark, cloudy night, the projected graphics are dim at best. It needs a much brighter light source. The area of the projection is also quite small. To fully illuminate the front of my house would have taken 3 or more of these projectors. I think this is something buyers should be aware of. It also lived up to the waterproof specs too, having survived 3 snowfalls and several heavy rains, so it is functional to some extent. I'd recommend buyers check three major areas... Water proofness, projection area, and brightness before purchasing. ... show more
