The item itself looks and feels nice. Must say the plates do seem to float as this iron does not pinch my hair as the “babyliss pro” does in my fine hair. On the other side. … I received an open box item with a defective lock system . The temperature system seems defective, when turning it cracks loudly enough to wake your sleeping partner -won’t work if you plan to use it Quietly early AM- (my nition iron doesn’t even make a sound when setting temperature) Unfortunately I ultimately bought this item to apply keratin treatments and I will say .. It did not make the cut!! After half a head I noticed the heat was set to 350 however after Several attempts to seal the product it DID NOT WORK so I had to run and get my hair pinching babyliss. :( Sad true story ... show more
