Great Pool heat pump. I have a 15X48 round pool thats approximately 5000 gallons. Setup was easy and quick. I started the pool heater when the air temperature was 70 degrees and the water temperature was 64 degrees. The heater brought the pool to 90 degrees in a day and a half. I always use a solar cover on my pool and that helped to prevent heat loss. For me the cover not only helps heat the pool passively but keeps it cleaner when we aren't using it. Ive heated the pool several times since the first time and its very quick to get the pool nice and warm. I did see an increase in the electricity bill but very little and as it gets into summer I wont be needing to heat the pool. It let us start enjoying the pool in April instead of June and We'll be able to swim later in the year also. For me its a great heat pump and well worth the money. The model I purchased was the WARMBLU H5 hooked up to an Intex 2800SX sand filter.

I got the 120k BTU . Delivery was fast (2days) this thing is heavy like 220lbs, need 2 person to move around, came in double boxed,very well. Very easy installation straight forward just connected between pool filter and salt cell, it came with 10 gage wire already attached. Once everything connected and secured took me 5 minutes to program and start heating the pool. Dowload the app so I can see the heating progress on my phone. It took 24 hours to heat from 73°f to 92°f very quiet when was running on full speed. Very satisfied. My pool is inground 15k gallons so I bought well oversize so it heat quick and done, it was worth it 24 hours went almost 20 degrees I'm in central Fl so nights in here still around high 50's and low 60s this will keep nice until summer comes and then if it gets too hot this unit chill water too. And the best part the price for the size and quality and finish, great.

Bought a WARMBLU H18. Unit arrived in well packaged box with no damage. Delivery was quick via Amazon. I bought this for my 18,000 gallons pool so that I could swim sooner and longer. Unit is able to increase water temperature by 1 degree every 2 hrs of running. It comes in 220V with attached cable. I already have a Pentair Pool controller box so wiring was easy after installed a GFCI 20amp circuit breaker following instruction. Running noise was minimal. Plumbing was also easy with a 3 way and 2 way valves and 1-1/2” PVC pipe. Need multi purposes cement due to both ABS connectors and PVC pipe. There was a price reduction after I bought the unit so I contacted WARMBLU customer service and through the customer representative, I was able to get a price reduction within 24hrs.

Heat pumps been running 4 days won’t go past 68 degrees . Intex pool 15’ round 42” high 4200 gallons of water. I’m not happy with it at all.

Was having a problem with my water heater after hooking it up I contacted customer service WAEMBLU, and immediately got a proper explanation of what was happening and what I had to do to render the fix they are very professional and get back to in a very timely manner would recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. Seems like a nice heat pump for your pool. It’s pretty straightforward to use. The water has an inlet and outlet section. A hose will take water from the pump and then release it back to the pool after being warmed. This will not filter water but heats it. It’s a solid and heavy feeling unit. Seems pretty sturdy. The design was pretty clear which I liked. It doesn’t seem overly complicated to use.

I wish the product description would’ve gone into more detail about how many gallons per minute this pool heater can handle instead of just the size of the pool. I picked this up just to heat the spa portion of my pool. I figured it’s less than 5,000 gallons so it should work, well I was wrong, like $600 wrong. I got suspicious, (more like a sinking feeling in my gut), when I opened the box and saw the in and outlets, (which are only 1” in diameter), I quickly grabbed the instruction booklet. To my surprise this pool heater only works up to 7.2 gpm, not the 60+ gpm that my Hayward Max-E-Pro with a 1.5 hp pump on a 2” line pushes. To further add frustration the instructions say to keep the heater within 10’ of the pool. So in other words this heater is ONLY FOR AN ABOVE GROUND POOL. I can’t tell you how well it works because it wouldn’t work with my in ground pool. It looks like a nice unit but… It would be nice if on high ticket items amazon would have the manufacturer provide a link to the product manual with more information.
