I would give 5 stars if the little hose didn’t leak right away. Had to buy another flexzilla 4ft hose. We regret not buying this years ago!! We full time RV and this has been one of our most satisfying upgrades. Some of these campground water is sooo hard. After installing the water filter system wasn’t really any change. Almost worse. After the mini inline water softener or water feel slippery like a high end 5star hotel 👏🏼 I would recommend to anyone that RVs more than 2 weeks out of the year. ... show more

    • Doesnt soften water
I've used this a few times and it does not soften the water , leaves bad spotting. No re-charge instructions and crooked base. Tried to email H&G customer service but no reply. Update: H&G sent me a message offering a full refund after me review by replying "full refund" I did so and now H&G as well as Amazon will not honor the offer. Very messed up when people cannot honor their own written words. ... show more

I purchased this for use with my RV as most campsites and RV parks have hard (or very hard) water. What an immediate difference this made! Easy to connect, easy to store and you will be hard-pressed to find a better price. 5 stars all around.

This system worked fine for a couple of uses. I thought I should test the softness after a couple of months. The hardness was same as tap water. Figured it needed more salt. I followed instructions in the video and could barely get half of the 1lb salt container into the tank (might have been less than half). Very frustrating since this was a pricey item.
