Works well for tank cleaning! It feels like it drains a bit slow, but I'm sure it will work better for smaller tanks AND when not fully draining the tank. Excited to use the gravel vacuum once the tank is planted so I can clean the water without disturbing the root systems.

I really like that you get to press the trigger and it automatically starts sucking the water up works amazingly long enough to hook on a bucket too

The trigger gun does great to help start the siphon. But that is about as good as I can say about this. The hose is very rigid and hard to uncoil and keep in a pail while cleaning the tank. The suction strength is very week and where the head of the cleaner meets the tube plugs up very easily. I do not recommend the is product.

I went to do a water change/clean and almost drained all the water out of my small aquarium!! I will be more careful next time I use it. I didn't think a unit that was not powered would work so fast but it does. I would definitely recommend it but just be careful because it works really well.

I just used this for the first time and was amazed at how easy it is to use and assemble. The water drained out of my tank extremely quickly, until I realized there was a dial I could turn to slow it down. The only negative is that it comes with a scraper tool, but no instructions as to how to use it.

SO much easier than trying to haul the whole tank outside to drain it, and better than the cheap ones available at Walmart.

This made cleaning out our fishes tank a lot easier and was an upgrade to a previous gravel cleaner. I like the trigger design of the pump and the long thick hose for drainage. Assembling it took about a minute and it has three extensions and a sand filter or a scraper like attachment.
