When I bought these my fear was that it would not be water tight on a small plastic bucket ~1 gallon I drilled a 1" hole in the cheap plastic and installed the spigot with its 2 flexible washers and plastic nut. Filled it with water, and no leaks. It worked exactly as hoped. Plan B was to slather the hole with silicone to fill in any gaps, but it wasn't needed. I am quite pleased with these. ... show more

I bought them to use with my quail cages. They work great. Not very heavy Material but they do the job nicely. I use 1/2” x3/8 food grade tubing. Everything has barb ends so it’s just push on and done. No clamps needed.

Needed to install this on a 5 gallon bucket to attach to some drip irrigation and it seems to be working just fine. Drill and 1 inch hole in the bucket and install this in about a minute.
