Awesome for what I needed it for which was some baby chicks...it got me through the years and I had to tack and tap a heating bulb in the corner but it was perfect for raising chicks and easy to put together. Love that it's easy to clean as well and I love the look. Size isfine for maybe 10 or a few more chicks when they are small but will need something bigger when they start growing. I love that you can close up the house part too in case you don't want them coming to the bottom or want to keep the heat in on cold nights. As you can see I had a full house🤷lol I would recommend though that if you use a heating lamp to make sure it's secure with tacks and tape or whatever you have as long as it's secure where you don't have to worry about it falling...I put tape on my cord at the top of the heating lamp to hold it on the wall or roof at the angle I wanted it and put tacks through the tape and it worked for me and also to control the heat I used a light dimmer so it wouldn't be too hot as you can see the light dimmer in the picture...you can get one at Lowe's...it has worked for me for years!!! ... show more
