Description

This portable chicken coop combines durability, functionality, and comfort. With a raised house, spacious run, weatherproof design, and easy maintenance features, it’s perfect for 4-6 chickens. Effortlessly move it to fresh grazing areas with its sturdy wheels and handle. better, sturdier coop. It has great features like accessible nesting boxes, multiple doors, perches in the coop, a removable tray, and an outside handle to control the coop door. 3. It was really easy to build and most pieces came semi- assembled. (2 people suggested tho). 4. It's cute, and I like that the "run" area is taller than most coops like it. We've purchased several coops of this same brand because we like the look, and the assembly has been easy for the most part, and with clear instructions. This coop is very easy to clean. I love the shingled roof. It would be best if you have the time before assembly to give the coop an additional layer of paint. My kids had the wild idea to get chickens. I had no idea what we were getting into. This was the perfect solution for us. Price was where I needed it to be as was size. I love the inexpense and ease of setup. This is much lighter weight than my previous coop I built myself, and easier to move around. Well-designed with plenty of access doors. I have four dual-purpose hens (Rhode Island Red, Plymouth Rock) and the coop part is quite snug. I'd say it can fit 3 plump hens comfortably, but 4 isn't too bad. I bought 4 Leg Horns and this was a perfect starter coop. I will need a bigger coop eventually but this was perfect for what I needed. The chickens are warm, comfortable and the squirrels can't get in. It is easy to move around with 2 people. All 4 hens use the same nest every time...they take turns. I would recommend this for a couple of chickens or if you are unsure you want to tackle owning chickens this is a great starter kit. It took about an 1hr to put together. It did take 2 people. The size is just right for 4chickens. You do have to be careful not to drill the screws in too fast. It will help prevent the wood from cracking. It’s definitely a starter coop!
