Bought this for my 12 year old. He put it together, basically by himself, using the included instructions that were clearly labeled along with detailed diagrams. It took him roughly an hour to put it together (it likely would've taken less time if he wasn't so worried about double checking he was doing everything correctly). He only really needed my help making sure all the screws were tightened down properly. He told me it was just like a Lego manual. The ability of this chair to recline has made it easy for him to adjust it to allow for proper posture. Which is something I require if he'd like to play on the computer for any length of time. The seat itself isn't super plush. It's a fairly firm cushion which in my experience leads to less wear. It is comfortable enough but if looking for something you have to spend an 8 hour work day in, I'm not so sure. The head rest and lumbar support are very easy to attach and detach as necessary. Unpaid/Non-Sponsored Review! What a great deal for any chair, let alone a gaming or office chair. I was shocked to see chairs priced $400+ for ergo office chairs, high end gaming chairs. I really just wanted a cool looking chair I could take with me to LAN events that wouldn't break the bank, that was light enough to haul around, durable enough to take on the task of rolling across parking lots, and comfortable enough that I could stand sitting in one for more than a marathon's worth of gaming. This chair met all of those requirements. It looks good, feels good, went together like a breeze. I've put low quality furniture together before; you get a screw just snug and it strips out. Not a single screw stripped out on this chair when putting it together. Plenty of spare parts. Office Max has metal folding chairs for $80-$90 a piece. At $114 shipped (during Prime Days) this was a steal. ... show more

UPDATE A YEAR N A HALF LATER: DONT GET THIS CHAIR!! i’m 5’6” and 160lbs. i used this chair daily, for at least 12 hours a day, since i got it. after barely a year and a half this chair has completely broken apart. first, the left arm of the chair came off from where it was screwed in, with no way of getting it back in. due to this there was a harmful metal connection protruding from the side of the chair. a few months after that happened, while sitting in it, the chair’s base completely snapped off the piston so that the chair freely moved backwards, forwards, and sideways with no stability. THIS DESIGN AND THE QUALITY ARE NOT WORTH IT! FOR $200 WITH SHIPPING YOU CAN GET SOMETHING BETTER! edit: contacted customer support and they replaced the massager pillow for me! now my main gripe is the wheels. they do NOT wheel around well at all. i went ahead and got replacement wheels from amazon, replaced them, and the chair rolls around infinitely better. for the price, i really love the chair and what it’s done for me already. i love everything about it. the footrest, the armrests, the pillows for extra back support, and the massager. the recline and lift are great. most of all, I LOVE THE COLOR! assembly was easy and the instruction manual it came with was good. came with everything you need to assemble and it didn’t take me long, less than an hour. my ONLY 2 complaints about this product are: the armrests are not even. 1 is lower than the other by maybe a centimeter, not extremely noticeable but you do notice it if you’re just sitting with your arms on the rests. i think this is because of where the holes in the back of the chair were drilled for them to screw into. i don’t really mind this though because it was important to me to have armrests that connect to the chair itself and i don’t notice the difference when i’m gaming. 2 is that the massager, which was by far my MOST FAVORITE part of the chair, has already gone dead apparently. it no longer works when plugged into my console or when plugged into a wall outlet. extremely disappointed about that since i also specifically got this chair for the massager option. hopefully will be able to get this replaced. not as big of a thing, but as shown in the pic, the pulley for the zipper was also missing for the pillow that came with the massager. ... show more

pros: quality welds very quiet good construction nothing missing everything is good and works as intended except the foot rest as explained below cons: the foot rest. feels like it's gonna break under the weight of my legs and I'm only 155lbs @ 6 feet tall. and when I say break I mean take the fasteners right out of the wood it's mounted into, probably destroying the chair in the process, so I don't use it. I know the vibrating function won't last but that's fine for me conclusion: for 100 bucks plus 30 shipping I would indeed recommend this chair. it's comfortable enough for a skinny fellow like me. if you're a large person you will find this chair way too cramped I think. I'm sitting in it now and my arms are cramped at my sides while I type on my phone. and again I'm 155lbs 6' tall. (not huge) hope this helps someone ... show more

I recommend this chair if you’re on a budget and been wanting a gaming chair like myself. Overall its pretty comfortable and functions properly in terms of reclining or raising and lower. The fabric isn’t the best, it’s a bit rough in my opinion and the cushioning on the arm rests seem like they might wear out fast but time will tell. It’s definitely one of those cases where you get what you paid for (keep in mind a great quality gaming chair values $200-$300) but definitely worth the price! Also the foot rest seems a bit flimsy but it’s a nice bonus and probably won’t use it much. 9.5/10 so I guess a 5 star review seems fair :) ... show more
