This is an OK 1080P projector. Everything that I tried works, although it is a bit difficult to pair speakers via Bluetooth and it won't pair to my Android phone. I did not try the Apple iOS connection since I do not own an iPhone. It worked great with a 2nd generation Google Chromecast and a Fire Stick, the USB ports produce enough power to run both of the streaming devices I tried, but with only 1 HDMI port, it is pretty limited if mounted on the ceiling. The remote control (batteries not included) worked well with reasonable range. There are minimal controls and focus cannot be changed using the remote, so ceiling mounting can be a bit of a hassle since you can only pick one focus position and if your screen moves, then you'll need to get on a ladder to adjust focus manually. The picture adjustments work but the keystone adjustment is only for up/down and not side-to-side, so this unit must be aligned to the screen to avoid distortion. My major complaints are that the fan is medium-loud and has a whiny sound that is a bit distracting. This wouldn't be as much of a problem except that the speakers are so quiet that I can barely hear anything over the fan even when sitting right next to the projector with volume at max. Using this device for any audio output it is required to have an AVR or other external speakers, either bluetooth or hard-wired. The speaker issue is a significant drawback for portable use and adds to the price to get a complete usable system. The brightness is OK up to about 60" diagonal projecting to a painted wall in a dim room. 100" and up would require a good quality screen and pitch black room to have comfortable viewing. If you are only using this for pictures and video, then it is a 4 star device, but for the total package, I can't rate above 3 stars since the speakers are unusable in practice. ... show more

honestly impressed with this little projector. At the lowest offering of "7000 lux", it is still bright enough to easily see 6-10' away in a lit room. I wasn't expecting that good of a picture. As with most projectors, it suffers when displaying darks, but at less than $50, it's quite a deal. The integrated speaker is decent but will have trouble filling a room, at least the unit has an audio out jack (headphones) that can be connected to a more substantial speaker if needed. Reading from a usb stick, it handled audio (mp3,flac) without issue. For video, it played mp4 and mkv but only h264, it would not recognize h265 (HEVC) encoded files. That wasn't really expected, as it's quite hardware intense to decode. That aside, this really is an impressive and compact projector. Small enough to travel with and bright enough to use in most places. Lastly, the lens cap cover is very thick rubber that fits in well. It'll keep out any dust and won't just pop off. ... show more
