The media could not be loaded. This is great for an overlanding and camping coffee maker. I have been experimenting with all kinds of coffee makers for camping for a few years now and this is the best I’ve discovered so far for ease of use and simplicity while in the wild. The process of high steam pressure makes some strong coffee. That’s why this is primarily an espresso maker. However, this also makes a great solo cup of regular coffee but you might need to cut back on the beans. I have also found that the slower you boil your water, the stronger the coffee, so if you put it directly on top of a flame and it runs fast then it’s not as strong. If you want to make a 12 oz cup of regular coffee then the 9 cup version is perfect size with the water just below the steam check valve. I use this with a small butane burner and it works great.

This makes a good cup of moka and will work on an induction stovetop. The coffee is strong and smooth and the cleanup is fairly easy. The 6 cup size will only fill about a cup and 1/2 for a regular cup.

The media could not be loaded. This moka pot is as much about the experience as it is the coffee — and I love it. The GROSCHE Milano Stovetop Espresso Maker looks incredible, especially in red. It’s a conversation piece, and I genuinely enjoy bringing it out when we have guests. It feels classic, well made, and has that timeless stovetop espresso vibe. There is a learning curve. It’s definitely a process, and the first few brews take some dialing in. Once you get the hang of it, though, it’s a lot of fun and produces a really enjoyable cup. One tip that made a big difference for me: pre-heating the water in a kettle before adding it to the base. It speeds things up and helps prevent burning the coffee on the stovetop. Now that I’ve got it dialed in, it’s become part of our routine — we enjoy a cup from it almost every weekend. If you like hands-on brewing and appreciate the ritual as much as the result, this is a great piece from GROSCHE.

I love this little pot! There is only 1 coffee drinker in our family (it’s me) and this makes a perfect cup of coffee. More like an Americano, my fave, I just add a bit of hot water after the shots are pulled with some half & half and I’m good to go! Clean up is soooo easy.

So I love coffee from a percolator/cafeteria. I have used a percolator for years having lived in Europe for a long while. If you're not familiar with coffee/espresso from one of these things, it takes a couple of goes to figure out the water:coffee ratio. I feel like I have found my formula and I am able to get a smooth flavorful cup of coffee every time. I purchased the 6 cup coffee maker. (To be clear that's 6 cups of espresso coffee not a standard coffee that we might be used to in America. (Then obviously, if you don't fill the water portion with enough water you can't expect a full cup of coffee either.)) If you are looking to use this for a standard cup of coffee which I often do, I am able to get 2 good cups out of it (I add milk to my coffee so bear that in mind). It looks and feels like it's well made. I purchased it in white. I was a bit worried about discoloration, but so far as expected the very bottom along the outside rim is the only part turning slightly brownish, burnt look to it, which is normal as you stick it right on the fire. There is a circular stainless steel portion in the center anyway. Looking at my other one which I have had for more than 10 yrs. in red, it has the same brownish burnt look to it, it gives it that seasoned flair. We just got rid of one that was on the cheapy made side. It would leak water when pouring the coffee, I had to replace the rubber washer between the top & bottom more than once. It seemed like everytime I used it there were water color spots resembling mold even if I washed & dried completely. So far with this one from GROSCHE, I am happy to say none of the above described thinhs are happening. After washing& drying, it still looks good & silver No water spots. The seal when closed is so good that when the coffee starts to boil sometimes I hear a whistle. The handle has a nice smooth feel to it. As mentioned it's far away from the body of the percolator that it doesn't get hot & I can handle it right off the fire with my bear hands. There's no leakage while pouring. I am very happy with my purchase, this was my 1st time buying from this company, but so far I am well pleased & I am thinking I need to buy the 9 cup percolator just because the coffee has been tasting so good! I always wind up making another pot. The white with wooden handle looks very nice, clean. Can fit with any style kitchen if that's what you're into. Also, I have traveled with one these especially if I am in an Airbnb. It's compact enough to fit into your bag (can always opt for the smaller 3 cup one)

I discovered the Moka pot on a visit to Italy where the coffee was amazing! I found this pot and am not disappointed at all! I ordered the white one and it is a beautiful pot! The finish seems to be of good quality and the wooden handle gives it a charming look. Best of all, it makes the most delicious cups of coffee that remind me of our Italian vacation!
