Firstly, I’ve been using steam cleaners for well over 30 years, starting with a Polti Vaporetto back in the UK, and since moving to the USA I have had 3 very high end $1000+ commercial type vapor steam cleaners, plus a Dupray Neat, which had been my go-to lightweight steam cleaner for my upstairs bathrooms. My current high-end cleaner, a Vaporclean Pro 6 Duo is wonderful for large jobs with it’s continuous fill function, but can be a bit bulky and heavy to lift and takes around 10-12 minutes to heat up, so I only get it out for big cleaning jobs. My Dupray Neat is smaller and lighter, but again takes around 10 minutes to heat up ready for use, and is not continuous fill, so you have to let it cool down some before being able to undo the cap and refill it whenever you run out of water. This Grobell steam cleaner is not only smaller and lighter that the Dupray Neat, but is continuous fill, which means that you can open the cap at any time, even while the machine is running, and add more water to the cold tank, which is then pumped down to another boiler tank where the water is heated and becomes pressurized steam. The Grobell steam cleaner heats in a very, very short time, less than 1 minute, which makes it very handy for smaller cleaning jobs, such as quickly cleaning a toilet, spill, or stovetop without having to wait for ages for it to heat up. The other BIG advantage of this steam cleaner is that it has both ‘wet’ and ‘dry’ steam functions. Now, most high end steamers only produce ‘dry’ steam, which is great for certain tasks, such as carpet and upholstery cleaning, floor and window cleaning etc., but sometimes you just need to blast off certain types of grime with wetter steam - dirty crevices, soap scum and grease for instance respond much better to being blasted with very hot steamy water, which this machine can do. To actually have this choice of dryer or wetter steam is absolutely brilliant! When I received the steamer today, I immediately put it to work blasting wet steam around my bathroom faucets, drains and sinks and shower spray head, my toilet and even some ornamental statues that I have around my bath. I also used the wet steam to blast down my cabinet doors and baseboards, allowing the excess water to run straight onto the floor, and then wiping off excess water with a microfibre towel. I then used the dry steam function, along with the triangle head and microfibre bonnet to clean the shower walls and door, switched to the glass squeegee for the mirrors, again using a dry microfibre cloth to polish off any excess water afterwards, then attached the mop unit to steam and sanitize the bath mats and clean the floor. The unit worked impeccably and was so easy to set up and use the attachments. I strongly suspect that this unit is made by the same manufacturer that makes the Dupray Neat as the attachments are interchangeable and almost exactly the same in quality and style. After using it, I was so impressed that I ordered a second unit to keep downstairs - this time without the mop attachement as I have another separate steam mop for downstairs. Now - if I was going to knock a star off it would be that I went to the website just to find out a bit more about the manufacturer and see how to get customer service if it was needed, and the entire site is in chinese without any kind of translation for english speakers, so it would be very difficult to get customer service if you cannot understand chinese. This could be a good reason to add on the Amazon 2 or 3 year guarantee to your order, so you are covered. Steamer works like a charm. Steamed my couch, steamed my shower, shower curtain, bathroom floors, kitchen floors, living room floors, and I’m planning on steaming all of it all over again. Product is easy to use, loads of attachments to fit any need, and it’s reliable. Smells so clean afterwards and makes it so worth the efforts. Need not worry about going to your nearest detail shop after a spill, although it is not an extractor and should only be used for minor stains or you may risk steaming it further into your fabric. Always use the white towel when steaming fabrics, and the smaller bristle brushes lose their stiffness fast but still work well regardless. Be careful it is very hot. Comes with a rubber glove but your regular black nitrile gloves help with the heat also, but still, be careful. ... show more

    • A BEAST for cleaning your home! JUST BUY IT!

I waited a few weeks to review this to test it out. This machine is a BEAST!!!! I have tried it on my furniture, my floors, my baseboards, my stove and microwave, my cupboards, and the carpets and ceilings of my car. I especially loved using on my stovetop and inside my oven. They’re cleaner than ever without the use of harsh chemicals! Yay! It will remove relatively any staining or dirty mark on anything. Be careful as the tip remains VERY hot. It will strip PAINT off of anything as well if used improperly OR if you want it to strip paint off of something you can use it for that as well! I would buy this again and again. The attachments that come with it are VERY much quality and work very well! I wasn’t expecting this to be so sturdy but it is! The great thing is while you’re cleaning, the machine is on wheels and has a VERY generous cord, so it follows you around wherever you go! The warm up time is minimal. Less than 2 minutes. But you do have to hold the trigger to let the steam begin. I do so into a towel or the sink to let the excess water be caught until the steam begins. Once you’re finished and the machine is off, hold the trigger to release the remaining water/steam from the line so it doesn’t stay in your tubing. Purchased to help my mother clean up her house before going on the market. She was in a bad car accident and has not been able to tend to her house like normal. The grout was just atrocious and nothing was helping. Bleach (don’t judge me, blame my grandmother) is my bestfriend and it just wasn’t cutting it. I ordered this product after several great reviews and investigating it. I wish I purchased it sooner & had before and after photos to post because WOW. Also, was so nice to be able to stand and clean the grout as opposed to others I see where you must sit on the floor or I guess chair. Easy to clean, easy to refill and overall just so great to have a nontoxic & cheap (distilled or purified water only) way to clean pretty much anything. Now onto the window sills! ... show more

Well worth the money. It got up old sticky residue on a older linoleum floor. Pieces snap together securely. Comes with a silicon glove as wand can get warm if cleaning a large area. Versatile, lightweight main unit. Heats up fast. I use distilled water and no problems yet. Ony knock would be the power button requires a bit of pressure and becomes annoying if cleaning a really large area. ... show more
