As a father of two toddlers, I needed a gun safe that was both quick to open and completely tamper-proof. This unit checks all the boxes. The fingerprint scanner is fast—I’ve added my wife’s fingerprints too so we both have access. There’s no way a child could open it thanks to the strong construction and internal hinges. I tested the pry resistance, and it held up great. Even if someone tried to break into it, they’d have a hard time. I love that I can keep it in my closet without taking up much space. Cannot set up safe. Battery port most be left half open to set. Once closed completely loses passwords and fingerprint. Customer service isn't 24/7 and website seems sketchy. Rep emailed me back a list of things to do before helping. Just threw it out.
