I‘ve kept jumper cables in my car for years just in case I needed them, but that meant I had to rely on someone else being around to help me! Since I never know when or where I might have car battery problems, this portable jump starter takes all the worry away. Now I know I won’t be stranded and I can help myself! I can also help others in need, too. I want all my loved ones to have one of these! I keep it fully charged to 100% (the display shows the power level) and know that I have all 3000Amps ready and available for use. It’s easy enough to use, too, just plug the jumper cables into the unit and attach the red and black alligator clips to the positive and negative battery terminals. The jump starter has a light on the end if needed. Since this is essentially a power bank, I can also use it to charge a phone or other device in an emergency. It has ten different protections built in, such as overcharge, overvoltage, short circuit, and reverse polarity protection. A good-quality divided case is provided to keep the unit, its instructions, and the cords organized. Excellent preparedness item to keep in every car!

I ordered this for my car but I'll be keeping it charged and in the house this winter. I really don't like being without phone service when the power goes out for an extended period of time and my phone batteries die. When that happens I can't call 911 if I need to. This handy gadget will recharge my phone and a rechargable lamp if I need it, during a power outage. I'll keep it charged to put in my car. However, I suspect its greatest utility, at least for me, will be during power outages. This would make a wonderful gift for those with health issues who might need to call 911 during a power outage, especially those who live where there are increasingly frequent storms with power outages. It would be a loving thoughtful gift.

I found out the hard way that when a truck battery is allowed to go completely dead from not running the truck, then not much will get it started again. I didn't have high hopes for this jump pack given it's size and price, but after connecting it to the truck battery and hitting the boost button, the truck immediately started without issue and without this jump pack getting hot, or even warm. so color me impressed. it also only used 10% of it's stored energy to start the truck. and it charged quickly before testing it too.

I used this to jump my mower and it worked flawlessly. Though in my experience if these are not fully charged they will not jump a car well. I did attempt to jump a very dead car with it at 100% and it would only crank a few times and would die. Would be good as a emergency given you keep it charged on the regular

Nice convenient-sized device to toss in the car for an emergency. The battery clamps are nice and sturdy and have a strong grip. Instructions are included in a little booklet and also on an attached tag that hangs off the cables. Can also be used as a portable power bank to charge my phone or operate a 5V USB device like a fan or light.

all drivers should have a jumper box in their car for emergencies I have many cars and I keep one in each and every one of my vehicles. Its very useful to jump you car or help others when you have one of these. it also has a flashlight and can be used as a powerbank I have had zero issues with it and have helped 5 people now with it and it still works like the day I first got it.

The media could not be loaded. At this price can the back country traveler afford not to have one? The importance of a jump starter like this can be visualized by seeing yourself in a vehicle that won’t start; where are you? In your driveway, then no big deal maybe. Nine miles down a logging road with dusk approaching and a 10 degree wind, then a very big deal. How about a big city parking garage after dinner? Pull this out from under the seat, hook it up in a jiffy, and off you go assuming low voltage was the issue. The carry case is adequate for the trunk, and the size makes it easy to stow in a boat compartment, ATV tool box or pickup under seat. Make sure your wife and kids know where it is and step them through how to use it. One use over several years can pay for itself. Worth considering.
