Bought this for my toddler since her toddler bed is high. Was very easy to put together and I like the long width. She still managed to find a way to fall off her first few nights in the bed, but for the most part it covers well for their own sense of security in an open bed. She has managed to make quite a noise when she shakes it back and forth through.

Rails are too wobbly even when secured to bed frame. My child can easily push the rails back to where they have fallen between the gap of the rail and bed when rolling in their sleep.

I got this for security purposes. Our children don’t co sleep but on the nights I need to bring one to bed (a person can sleep in a chair only so many nights in a row!) I wanted something to ensure my 6 month old would not roll out of bed. It will do the job. Is it secure enough for an every night super active child? Absolutely not. If you have a lip on your frame it will prob work better but for our platform bed I feel like there is still a gap to fall between that I don’t love. In addition to this, the directions are pretty poor. It does not tell you how best to install the strap on the video… Finally, the little bars in the video that keep the main piece from flipping over were missing. And from reviews this appears to be common. I am able to side step the issue by using zip ties but it’s def not ideal. It will work well enough for our purposes but I’d buy something better if it was intended to keep a child in their bed every night.

I can now sleep in peace knowing my daughter can't roll of the bed. I also take my tablet and hang it off the rail so when it is bedtime I can put her lullabies on and soothe her to sleep. I wouldn't recommend kids leaning on it during the day since it isn't that tall. They could flip over it but for sleep purposes is great.

The installation was a little tricky for a twin bed bought for a growing great granddaughter. Opted not to attach it permanently, but to allow the weight of the mattresss to stabilize it.

The side guard was easy to set up and use. I like the feature of being able to put the side down for easy if making bed and for looks when granddaughter is not sleeping. The side guard keeps her safe at nights with its full net material side. Item was as described and was shipped and arrived on time.
