It’s sturdy, and it’s sat in the rain several times and we haven’t had any issues with rust colored water pouring out of the chairs like others reviewed. I’m not sure how long it will last but it’s beautiful for now. Easy to assemble, perfect size, no holes, great height, holds our larger family members without feeling like it will collapse. This is a nice little set for a smaller patio area or deck. The chairs are comfortable and as stylish as you can get for this type of furniture. The table has a nice smoky glass on top which looks pretty cool. Assembly was pretty straight forward and not too difficult, just a bit tedious. This set was easy to put together and looks great on our lanai. The only problem was that the first time I sat on one of the chairs, I fell through. I’m 150 lbs, for reference. It turns out the edge of the seat fabric is sewn around a plastic dowel and that dowel is fed through a C-shape piece on either side of the base. The opening of the “C” was too wide on one side, so the dowel popped out when I sat down. To fix, I pulled the dowel out, wrapped electrical tape around it to make the diameter thicker, and then fed the newly-taped dowel back through the fabric. Then I fed it through the C-shape and since then (knock on wood), it’s been holding up fine. It’s an inexpensive product for what you get, so I was fine to do a little extra work to make it solid and safe. Just a note of caution, though. Definitely test “drive” them before your guests sit down! ... show more

I bought this particular set because I know someone that has it and know it's sturdy etc. I do recommend 2 people put it together so there's a helper to hold the chair parts in the right position as you tighten bolts...I did it on my own and still have to adjust a wobbly chair just due to not having enough hands during the build. Also, I contacted the email on the box when there was an issue with a part and I had a replacement part within a week! I love the set and it looks nice on my porch. It's comfortable to sit on and I look forward to spending time on my porch now! ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this set because it was sturdy and just the right size for our B & B's small patio. After 3 months on the patio, it is rusting out of every bolt and crevice. It has ruined the outdoor rug and stained the concrete all around.

Thankfully I have a super handyman of a husband. The package arrived without most of the hardware. Then we put the first chair together and could not figure out why one of the chair legs was almost an inch off the ground. As we kept investigating we finally discovered that the E and the D pieces (the legs) were different. They were bent different so they were not the same shape making the D leg pieces shorter than the E leg pieces. Make it make sense haha.
