What a great speaker set! 2 x 15” subwoofers plus tweeters at this price point is an incredible value. The speaker cabinet is superb! Good solid feel, good thick carpeting, not the paper thin stuff. The metal grills are nice and thick and make the box really really stand out in a crowd. They really do look so awesome compared to your standard dual box, and just the speaker box alone is worth this price point. I feel like they included 2 x 15 subwoofers for free! Is this the most powerful speaker on the market? No, but they sure do a great job. The label says 700 watts. I’m running 400 and they sound great for a garage size house party.     • WOW! Blew My Roof Off Right Out of the Box!!

WOW! Just received these speakers yesterday to replace my Kustom speakers. The shipping boxes looked bad but everything inside was fine. I read another post about a glue smell. I noticed an odor when I unpacked them but after about an hour it went away - nothing to worry about. I plugged them into my Kustom amp/mixer and started playing music from my computer in our basement dance studio. The sound was awesome and the power unbelievable. I could totally have a block party with these speakers. My amp/mixer has a small 5 channel equalizer and it worked just fine when I changed the music from hard rock to new wave. Some songs require tweaking to get the perfect mix of treble and bass. All of my lasers and lights work perfectly with these monster speakers. Can't wait for my next party!!! ... show more

I bought these for a party I had this summer and i'm very pleased with their response. Full sound at a distance without being over powering at all. I was going for as inexpensive as possible for this sound system, but yet being relatively high value and I'm blown away at the result of pairing these speakers with a Pyle 3000 watt amp, and a Behringer stereo EQ. I used this combination for an outdoor party and had great coverage and solid sound pretty much everywhere at about 150 foot radius without being overly loud in any frequency band, and having a really decent solid bass response. I paid around 650 for this combination plus speaker wire, and I'm extremely happy with this combination. I recommend you try it if you're looking for a nice quad 15" subwoofer solution with a bit of options over EQ and having an easily controlled multi-input system for VERY cheap per performance. This system is now making it's way into my basement studio and I'm totally happy with it's sound. ... show more

5 stars for the price and range. I've had these for about a month. Used for a wedding, a school dance, and a graduation party. They worked fine. These provide great mid tones, but suffer if you try to push low (it can handle lower frequencies, just don't expect it to drop like a sub would). Hi seems to be fine, however, I usually use smaller speakers that I have to push out the higher frequencies.. I've probably pushed max 500w to each, my amp is a bit sketchy, but these can handle and fill a room/auditorium with sound. ... show more

The set up is very nice... brand new in the set... but lacking full amount of wire (s) needed to acquire sound... now I have to send off for another set of wires which in my opinion... should been included beingvthere is a special kind of plug necessary for installation which I'm still not sure if these speakers work for what I've paid for them.... ... show more

    • WOW! Couldn't believe the sound

Bought these for our band as we were beginning to play in some places that were bigger than the coat closets we were used, and wow, what a sound! These speakers will definitely push some sound our through the room and rattle the windows when needed. The sound is clear, with good range and we can't wait to blow some roofs off at our next gig. This a great deal when you get the pair (yes that is right a pair as in quantity of 2) for one price that is incredible. The pictures don't quite do them justice as far as understanding how big they actually are. You have to remember those are dual 15" speakers so that means the unit is at least 30 inches tall, add in the horns and packaging space and these things are 38-40 tall and they also carry some weight. Important note: You cannot mount these on pole stands, so make sure you have floor space or other flat top stands to set them on. Oh yeah, and you may need to bring some hearing protection too......... ... show more

The enclosure came with minor damage straight out of the box but that was livable. The overall sound quality was disappointing. The highs and mids are ok but bass was sadly missing. If you listen to music with lots of bass then these are not for you. They would make good pa speakers.
