  • Great power and long life
Size: 82V 25" Self-Propelled Mower
Great power and long life. One charged battery will last my entire yard. On extra long grass, one will not quite suffice and the mower will automatically switch over to the second one. With a third battery, one will power the mower while the other two charge. There is enough power to even mow wet grass. However, wet grass will clog up under the deck and cause the mower to abruptly stop. Lowering the handle will lift the deck front and the clog will fall down and have to be removed from the lawn before continuing. Wet mowing is not ideal, but is possible when not avoidable. ... show more

  • Great Mower!
Size: 82V 25" Self-Propelled Mower
Cuts really nicely and controls are easier to use than my Dad's EGO self propelled. Love the 25" width, reducing my work time for my large yard. I don't understand why more companies don't offer this width. Mulches really well, actually much better than my 21" model, maybe because this one has the 2-blade design. The auto switch-over between batteries is very convenient, though it is not seamless (the mower stalls a bit then automatically restarts on the new battery, if you don't let go of the "run"-bar) ... show more

  • 25” 82 volt Mower self propelled problem temporary fix.
Size: 82V 25" Self-Propelled Mower
Used the 25” cut 82 volt mower around ten hours so far. The self propelled switch stopped being activated by the hand lever yesterday. The cable does not have enough tension to activate the drive. Otherwise the mower did the work as intended. A temporary quick fit was done on the self propelled cable and lever, now the switch is activated when the lever is pulled into the handle bar.. See photo. ... show more

  • Beware of transmission issues with this self-propelled mower
Size: 82V 25" Self-Propelled Mower
The mower transmission keeps locking up sometimes when you engage the self-propelled, it works other times it doesn’t tried call Green Work number several times and the call does not go through. This is a brand new mower and cannot get support from either Amazon or Greenworks. Stay away from this unit. This is not sour grapes. I’ve had many mowers and this is The most ineffective mower with the most problems for a brand new mower I have ever come across. After a month, use the mowers wheels lock up completely, but will engage when you use the personal pace drive. This is very consistent so when you reach the end of a row, you have to drag the mower around to the next row because the wheels are locked again, once you engage the drive it works. Long story short I tried to contact warranty service and found that the nearest repair facilities are 100s of miles away. Just beware with this purchase.. I’ve talked to the Greenworks residential customer service. Ask him for help contacting Commercial Greenworks. They’ve given me several phone numbers none of them work. Has anybody had any experience trying to get a hold of Greenworks Commercial and getting a hold of a live person? ... show more

  • Great mower
Size: 82V 25" Self-Propelled Mower
80vx2 25" self propelled Greenworks 2 blade mower works well and cuts better than my gas powered. I use the lowest speed on the back yard and its very easy to stop and start. Can do my whole yard (45 minutes) and still have 60% charge left on 1 battery. You can be charging one battery while using the other even though it can hold 2 batteries. It automatically revs up in heavy grass but does clog up mulching with wet grass. Battery charger is a bit loud during fast charge period. ... show more

  • Could be great, but isn't. Lots of missed but grass
Size: 82V 25" Self-Propelled Mower
2 arrived broken. The handle on one and the top was broken on the 2nd. Very frustrating. According to reviews Greenworks seems to be either going out of business or just in the business of doing poorly (customer service and product descriptions). Very confusing how they have an 80v version and then the 82v version. It is unclear if the 82V is truly Commercial Grade. Doesn't seem like it. However their Optimus line is same voltage but 3x-4x the Price. I am interested in outfitting my whole garage with Greenworks but the poor quality I have received and the fact that my local Greenworks dealer is no longer carrying Greenworks, leads me to believe that they are not on the cutting edge or a true competitor. NOW FOR ACTUAL USE FEEDBACK. Their 80v has VERY NICE aluminum handles with a super easy way to adjust handle height. EASY! But the 82V has a more annoying method that is basically pulling out a pin on each side and then pushing them back in. Some reason they also changed the handle, traction and blade control. I prefer the 80v. Cutting is lame. Every time I cut i have to go over the lawn 2-3x to cut most of the grass. Inevitably it leaves a several blades of grass uncut. It seems like the blade is not sharp but it sure does feel like it is and I have read that it arrives sharp. So I trust that. It still SUCKS at efficiently cutting the grass. I have an 18" Ryobi and I prefer it. Very light. A little more quiet and cuts better. Greenworks: STEP UP YOUR GAME OR GET OUT OF THE GAME. I have mowed with 3 of their mowers and only prefer them because of their 25" deck and 82V battery "power". They have way to many Voltage options, their inventory is scarce, they had a 30" walk behind mower which I can't find anywhere. I may ne going to EGO brand soon. Too frustrating ... show more

  • Best electric mower I’ve ever used
Size: 82V 25" Self-Propelled Mower
I used a Kobalt 80 watt for five years before buying this mower. It cuts much thicker grass with ease! The battery life is twice as long. Meaning, I go thru two batteries on my Kobalt without using the self propelled feature to save battery energy in before my son needs a charge using the self propelled feature on the fastest. It also collects twice as much clippings I will buy another one down the round ... show more
