    • The only FRUSTRATION FREE trimmer I've ever used!
Had this long enough to have used it plenty now. Wanted to try it out more than once or twice to really review it. I had trouble at first getting the head to twist to the side or back. Also had trouble getting the line spool out. But after using it more, these things got easier & are no problem now. They were just very new & still at first & I have hand/arm strength problems anyway. So if you get this, don't be so fast to send it back!! I almost did that, but now I love it, have no problem with the twisting parts moving like I want, & the adjustable length is a godsend. I read a lot of reviews for many trimmers & it seems to be a repeating problem that auto line feeds don't let the string out or let it all out. I have to say I've had NO PROBLEM at all with the line feed at all. In fact this is the only trimmer I've ever used that I can say that about!! It was very heavy for me at first, until I pushed the handle as short as it would go, & that balanced the weight for me so it was easy to use. I'm an older woman w/ arm weakness, & If I can get it to where I can use it easily, any woman should be able to do the same without much of an issue with the trimmer weight. This trimmer works well, stays plugged in tightly, has nice features that make cutting in different situations easy (I use it turned sideways along fences for climbing vines quite often), & feeds the line at just the right rate to not use up a whole spool in a single use. I do recommend buying a spare line spool to keep ready for a fast switch tho. I rewind them myself using .065 round line. The dual line feed spool isn't hard to rewind at all.     • I like the power
So this is my first online purchase of a trimmer. I like the power, and ease of use this trimmer is not as heavy as some and the edger works great. I was not sure I needed that feature but now use it when trimming the front each time. I have used this trimmer for 4 months and would have given it less stars at first. The dual line feed is difficult to figure out. My previous trimmer was a tap and feed this one is not. I went through the spool provided after 2 uses. some of that was figuring out how to let out the line. I did purchase 2 replacement spools and a commercial line and have kind of figured it out. I could go 3 stars and if you want flawless line feed this may not be the trimmer for you. I have not been able to get this trimmer to feed flawless but I have a large yard and trimming can take an hour plus so I am a heavy user. I went 4 stars because the power it provides. is there a trimmer that feeds out flawlessly? ... show more

This is an excellent weed trimmer for a great price. Set up is a snap, literally. Slide the two poles together and snap on the handle, tighten it down with the included hand bold. You don't need any tools. The package includes two spools of trimmer line and an extra cap. The motor is very quiet, not even close to the sound of a gas operated trimmer. I had an earlier version of this for almost ten years, and it was a real work horse, it was used mostly once a week, but there were quite a few times I used twice in a week. The corded trimmer works fine but the cutting line is terrible. The line gets caught in itself and will not extend out as it is supposed to. You have to keep taking the reel off and untangling the line, which is very time consuming and frustrating. All of the replacement reels ordered are the same way, they are just not wound around the reel properly. Would not purchase or would not recommend purchasing this trimmer. I am going to fight with it for the season because i have purchased so many replacement reels, then dump it and get another trimmer that I have researched for and should be a lot better. I tried the replacement head with the blades on it, but the head busted the first time using it, that was no good either. They need to update or do some more research on their line feed and replacement reels. After many attempts to try to get this trimmer to work it is insanely annoying and i wound up throwing it out and all of the extra line that i purchased for it. DON'T BUY THIS TRIMMER, GET A MUCH BETTER ONE AT HOME DEPOT OR LOWES WITH BETTER CONTROL ON THE LINE, AND STRONGER LINE, THIS LINE THAT COMES WITH IT IS TOO WEAK TO WITHSTAND ANY OBSTACLES THAT YOU HAVE TO CUT AROUND. ... show more
