  • Nice quiet Greenworks 3000 pressure washer
Size: 3000 PSI (Standard)
Purchased the Greenworks model 3000 (psi) pressure washer on sale, and used it for two days outside surface cleaning in Aug 2023; liking the Greenworks model 3000 a lot. A quiet electric machine - online videos don't show how quiet it is. But online videos do show the Greenworks max psi is well under 3000 psi, eg the 15" Greenworks surface cleaner measured at 1000 psi (and the tips higher than 1000 psi), so the pwasher/surface cleaner should be safe for pavers. Packaged with wheels mounted; pwasher quickly assembled, no assembly issues, similar in size to my old gas 2600 psi Craftsman. Like its green appearance and its sturdy frame/body steel like my old gas pwashers. Its box arrived mostly pristine/undamaged, and parts looked sparkly new, unused - i see some one-star reviewers show otherwise. So thanks to those web videographers who measured the Greenworks psi pressures/gpm using pressure meters inline with gun and 5-gallon buckets to inform us of what each pwasher tip and surface cleaner psi and gallons per minute actually are. Greenworks should have easily provided that info, including their pump nomenclatures, so we as consumers can make a better choice, ie may not have needed the 3000 psi model if the pumps and internal electronics are the same for lower rated psi Greenworks models. For example, if a lower rated model has a pump to be avoided, then we can choose a better model. Used the Greenworks brand 15" surface cleaner on our wide (2-car) concrete driveway, concrete sidewalk, and 5' wide x 40 ft paver walkway, and delighted with the cleaning results. Even though I owned Craftsman gas pwashers for decades, did not know how low a psi pressure can be to clean concrete, so 1000 psi for concrete using the 15" diameter surface cleaner. (Using the surface cleaner is a must if you want to feel like a human when you are done, a great time saver). So the math falls to 500psi for each of the two surface cleaner rotating tips that clean concrete and pavers. Did not use the onboard soap reservoir yet- used a bucket of very diluted Zep concrete cleaner and just spilled it on and used a push broom. Phoned Greenworks, because neither their supplied instruction manual nor their online videos recommend a detergent, and their (annoyingly small print) instruction manual stated no acidic nor base detergents (page 9) should be used; that just leaves water as the detergent per their written directions. But the Greenworks responder suggested Simple Green as a guess for the soap dispenser Aug 2023. Purchased the Greenworks addon soap applicator on sale, but have yet to use it. fyi, entertaining to see the videos repeatedly miss which detergent to use; the video host only says "here is the Greenworks detergent reservoir", and skips to another pwasher part; an SNL moment. Did not find that the few second delay after pulling the gun/trigger or after elec powering on a nuisance as many reviewers suggested. An extension wand is required for the surface cleaner, because the supplied gun/wand are too short for using the 15" diameter surface cleaner. (Can purchase surface cleaner including an extension wand) No electric problem from a lamp post outlet 40+ ft from house with 12-guage underground wire on a 15 amp circuit ( I have not tried using an extension elec cord yet). Careful to keep garden hose and electric power cord and surface water separate. Initially, blow the surfaces. Rinsed the surface cleaner after each day of use; and relieved the gun pressure each time the washer was powered off to spend a little time rinsing a completed surface section. Smooth sailing so far. Btw, Trex does not recommend use of a pwasher, nor does Bob Villa recommend a pwasher on a house exterior - I still use the extension 22 ft aluminum threaded pole with replaceable brush and a bucket of very diluted Palmolive liquid dish detergent on vinyl siding to prevent my clothes from getting bleached by the stronger house exterior cleaning products, and this Palmolive solution is safe for Trex decks. More than a week later, amazed how good looking the driveway and sidewalks appear, wow! The age of the 36 ft concrete sidewalk is 42 years, the 50 ft driveway 25 years, and the 40 ft paver walkway 9 years. (Also cleaned a small concrete pad at our garage people door, and a nearby cluster mailbox concrete/aggregate pad for 16 neighbors on our cul-de-sac.) And yes, the Greenworks plastic holster for the pwasher gun is weak when in the upright/storage position; ok when in horizontal (working) position, but would prefer the decades old circular short plastic holding tube - reviewers are currently suggesting a bungee cord to bolster the holster; the reviewer used 3 holster bolts shown in his photos to anchor the gun whereas the model 3000 I received Aug 2023 only has two gun holster bolts. Also not a fan of the pressure hose holder which has a supplied bungee - our old gas Craftsman had a perfect hose holder on a strong plastic reel. But goodbye to gas pwashers! (applause). Hope this 3000 model will last; one-star reviewers do show some caution, and hope in general elec pwashers improve. Update 3/30/2025 Used Greenworks power washer again for the driveway. Pwashed each driveway section with Simple Green All Purpose cleaner - poured a very diluted solution by bucket, brushed it on, and used the surface cleaner. Had no problems using the Greenworks 3000 pwasher so far. Used a second hose for quick rinsing section by section. So our Greenworks pwasher is still alive after 3 years, and we keep it stored in our garage near our house wall so it's never below freezing for long. Driveway today looks amazing, and it hasn't been in dire need for cleaning for 2 years including today - so we could pass another year except for some mold on perimeter.. Sidewalk and paver walkway easily completed - nice! So Simple Green All Purpose Cleaner by spilled on bucket is good enough. ... show more

  • Great Pressure Washer Especially for Electric!
Size: 3000 PSI (Standard)
I had a 3600 PSI Gas pressure washer that was horrible to start! Pulling on the string starter forever. Getting it serviced cuz it wouldn't start, or plugs etc....and then the gas. It cleaned great but in my opinion was a pain. I wanted an electric pressure washer that would clean just as well, and had tried neighbors that were lower PSI...usually in the 1800-2500 PSI range...ugghhhh...they didn't clean well at all. Hardly removed anything! I saw the ratings on this one, and I watched a few demo videos on YouTube about the model, and everyone basically said it was a really great pressure washer and was pretty comparable to gas pressure washers. I finally decided to take the plunge and try it....and I have to say I'm really impressed! It is SUPER easy to start with the press of a button! No gas, so spark plugs etc. It's pretty powerful at only 3000 PSI as well.....and does an impressive job of cleaning the dirtiest of driveways and sidewalks, etc. Had to even be a little careful with it as it took a little paint off the trim of the house when I washed the house. Obviously I was too close to the house with it, or had too powerful of a head on it....lesson learned....but still...it's obviously strong enough to take the paint off the house! My neighbors electric 2200 wouldn't even remove dirt off the sidewalk! So I'm very happy with it and would recommend it! The turbo attachment is my favorite....it really cleans well! I got the disc surface cleaner to go along with it, and that works great too! Cut my time in half from when I tried cleaning my driveway and sidewalks with just the gun nozzles. It's a great little machine! Stands upright for easy storage as well! ... show more

  • Greenworks Pro Brushless 3000 PSI pressure washer

The Greenworks Pro Brushless 3000 PSI pressure washer exceeded my expectations. Shipping was very fast, and the unit arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. It is extremely powerful, easy to use, and built with very good quality materials. The steel frame feels very durable, and the pressure is strong enough for heavy cleaning jobs. • Overall great pressure washer - as far as I know
Size: 3000 PSI (Standard)
If anyone reading this review mine has not done their due diligence in reading/watching reviews on it, I highly encourage that you do. This is by and large why I chose to buy this pressure washer over others. I don't plan to use this washer to do any commercial-esque work on autos or other houses. I wanted a strong pressure washer to clean my concrete surfaces and my fencing...typical household work. There are some great reviewers out there that measure actual PSI and even amperage used... I am not 1 of those. But I was excited to get this in. And IF you watch any review videos, you will hopefully notice that many of them note that the plastic wand holder isn't substantial enough to effectively grip and hold the wand when not in use. That is absolutely correct, it just sucks. In my case, I used some spare Velcro product to try and hold it in place... it isn't doing the job just yet but that's my fault... I need to spend more time on that fix. But as far as how the washer works, so far it seems to be handling my chores well. Last evening used this in conjunction with a surface washer attachment to clean my driveway and it was fine. I don't care about noise levels (some reviews even mention that), but the noise coming from this washer is not offensive in any way. It's said that this is the "most powerful" residential washer available on the market...well maybe it is, maybe it's not. But I like it so far. ... show more

  • DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER!
Size: 3000 PSI (Standard)
I am very disappointed with this unreliable product. The first pressure washer lost its water pressure within an hour of usage. I followed the step by step proper way of using this pressure washer and their technician also guided me with trouble shooting. However, to my disappointment it never worked again. The GREENWORKS customer service representative said that a replacement will be sent and that I could simply keep the old one. The replacement arrived after about a week but to my disappointment it never worked at all - it would not turn-on even with guidance of a technician from Greenworks. I called the Amazon customer service to set up a pick up via UPS to return the item and to get my refund. However it has been 3 times now that I have requested for pick up and 3 times the Amazon has failed to do so via UPS. They wasted several days of my time waiting at home but no one has showed up. I called the Amazon again today (9 April) for the 4th time and was told they will send a UPS pick-up tomorrow. Well, let's see what happens this time - I'll provide an update. This GREENWORKS 3000 PSI electric water pressure is highly unreliable - at least in my own experience, and the Amazon customer service is highly unsatisfactory, they do not follow through to keep their promise. I purchased this item because I have read a lot of good reviews online - I was misled. Regretfully, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this GREENWORKS 3000 PSI electric pressure washer. If I could rate this product a fraction of a Star, I'd be glad to do so. Update: Today, 11 April, I checked the return status online. It says the pressure washer has been picked up when actually the item is still sitting in the hallway of my house. This is so frustrating, no one showed up again. As I am writing this update I am with the Amazon Customer service rep on the phone - on hold, waiting for assistance. It seems they don't want the item back, so I am requesting for immediate refund. ... show more

  • Virtually Industructible!
Size: 3000 PSI (Standard)
This thing is a beast! It's been the main pressure washer in my Chevrolet dealership's detail bay for almost 3 years and I can't believe how rugged this thing is. We beat the crap out of it, always run hot water through it and it still works perfectly. The stock hose just split this morning. This thing owes me nothing and I'd buy another one tomorrow. I'm going to buy one for my home as it's powerful enough to spin a surface cleaner for light concrete work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. ... show more

  • This is better than the gas power washer it replaced - electric has arrived
Size: 3000 PSI (Standard)
Bottom line is this is as powerful as the gas one it replaced. And there's no tinkering, no smell, no spilled gas, no adding oil, no new fuel filter, no sparkplugs, no messing with the carburetor, no wrenching your shoulder with the pull start, etc. It is easily 20-30 dB more quiet than the gas one. You don't need hearing protection. It fires up immediately and is delivering good pressure very quickly. I ran this for hours and hours, pressure washing all sorts of surfaces, and it never overheated or had any issues. It can be fickle with lesser extension cords. Don't goof around with cheap 16 gauge orange cords. Get a good 12 gauge and it won't trip the GFCI. You will probably need an extension cord if you're running around the entire outside of your house to pressure wash siding, or you'll have to get a longer hose. ... show more

  • Disappointing: shipped with defective unloader valve
Size: 3000 PSI (Standard)
The unit seems like it could be good...but it shipped with a defective "unloader valve". I'd get a brief moment of spray before the whole unit shut off. (The unloader valve is supposed to have a spring-loaded pin at the end, but mine has no spring.) I'm past the return period for Amazon -- it took a couple months to have time to use the device -- so I'm trying to work with the manufacturer...but I've been on hold for an hour, so I'm not thrilled with this level of support either. UPDATE 1: I ended up being on hold for about 90 minutes before anyone answered. The support person was nice. In the end, she basically wanted proof that the unloader valve was defective, in the form of a video showing there was no spring action with the pin at the end, as I had described. I sent a video a short while later, now about 36 hours ago. I just noticed at the end of the email she had sent, to which I had replied, that it advises to allow "up to 24-48 business hours for an email response". BUSINESS HOURS, eh? Even though I think they're open for more than 8 hours a day, that's probably what I should assume, so...3 to 6 days. We'll see how that goes. UPDATE 2: Well, they got back to me 36 "business hours" (three full calendar days) later. And the verdict is: They do not see the unloader valve separately. But wait; there's more. Now they have asked that I hook up the unit again as though it would work (with the known-faulty unloader valve) and call back, referencing the case number, and see if the issue can be resolved over the phone. (Thank goodness for the post-pandemic work-at-home allowances, given that the call center operates only during "business hours" and not on weekends.) In other words, sending the video of the defective unloader valve was a complete and utter waste of time. UPDATE 3: Well, that was interesting. To their credit, this time support answered fairly quickly -- no 90-minute wait. On the downside...the script they followed to have me do a series of tests was not a valid test. That is, first I tried the spray, and it failed pretty quickly, as it had originally. No surprise there. Then they asked me to plug it into a different power outlet...and this time it worked "better." It was bizarre, really: one nozzle (25º) still failed as before, while two (15º, 40º) appeared to work fine. So...the support person concluded that the one nozzle was defective, and promised to send me another. After the call concluded, I took one of the nozzles that had appeared to work fine, and extended the hose -- keeping all connections identical -- out to where I wanted to spray...and sure enough, the machine cut off straight away. Bloody useless. So...I found a same-size unloader valve online and ordered that. Both the replacement nozzle and my new unloader valve arrived about two weeks later. This unloader valve worked (by itself) exactly as I had expected. Contrary to the valve the shipped in the pressure washer, the straight pin on the end sprung back when gently pushed in. The replacement unloader valve worked perfectly in the unit, even with the "defective" spray nozzle. My initial analysis of the underlying issue was correct: the unloader valve that shipped with the unit WAS defective. And the manufacturer did NOT stand behind it. Even though the machine works now, I strongly regret having purchased it. I should have gone with Kärcher instead; live and learn. UPDATE 4 I expect this to be my final update. Today I called Greenworks one last time as a courtesy, to provide feedback on my case file. And once again, they answered quickly, which was nice. The tech that I spoke with -- Sara(h) -- was very, very good. She first read over my file so she would have the necessary background for the case, then listened attentively as I droned on about the continued testing after the prior call (the testing of which failed badly), and described how the replacement unloader valve that I found independently worked fine, even with the (supposedly) "defective" nozzle tip. She explained more about the processes they use, and indicated that they really do stand behind their products with a 3-year warranty. Unfortunately, they do not consider the unloader valve a user-replaceable part. In addition to her strong listening skills, she also took it upon herself to write up some notes on the call to pass up the food chain, accurately capturing my concerns, to be sure management is aware of areas for potential improvement. This was a very positive interaction and changed my view of the company. I don't think it would take much for the company to create greater customer satisfaction; time will tell. I hope they find more people like Sara(h). ... show more
