Purchased this to take down a couple black walnut trees and had my fingers crossed it would be enough. Well let me tell you it handled those 8 inch diameter trees easily on 1 charge. My only complaint is the bar seems to require tensioning more then I would like but overall for the price point it fits in perfect with the rest of my green works products (even uses the he same battery) and is perfect for my little .75 acre suburban home. ... show more

Would not recommend this unit. Could tell right off it would be awkward and a pain to Use as you are having squirt oil on the chain bar during use from a little bottle that’s provided. Get the electric chainsaw instead. Doe’s basically the same thing and easier to use.

I bought this to trim some insurgent beaches from a stand of cedars. Made short work of the job. Not recommended for branches thicker than 2 inches. Keep reminding yourself to keep your other arm clear!
