  • One of the Better Electric Washers in this Price Range
Pattern Name: Washer Style: 2000 PSI (Black Frame)
If your budget for a pressure washer is between $100 to $200, you can't go wrong with this corded Greenworks one. We've used dozens of different types of pressure washers on our land over the years. From cordless lithium battery operated ones, electric plug-ins, and of course gas-powered. We have different pressure washers for specific uses, and that's often based on portability or PSI (Pounds per Square Inch of water pressure). In my experience, the battery-powered pressure washers tend to be the weakest. Gas-powered ones, be it a Craftsman or even an off-brand one, usually offer the highest true PSI needed for heavy duty jobs. Or when I need to clean off hard to reach areas of any of the homes on our land. Corded electric pressure washers can be really hit or miss. The problem is that most of the corded pressure washers that I've used over the years tend to exaggerate the PSI. They'll advertise it as 2800, maybe 3,000 PSI or higher. And then when you actually put it to work, it can barely strip grime off of concrete. They end up being used only for things like rinsing off vehicles, or very light cleaning. Most of the electric pressure washers I've come across on Amazon also look identical to one another. Which is to say, they all look like a knockoff of the classic Sun Joe electric washer. We own a Sun Joe, it works well for very light-duty cleaning. But the imitations tend to offer less pressure, so they're mostly worthless unless you want to do very basic cleaning. Or you plan on taking much longer to remove buildup from driveways and walkways, but needing to hold the nozzle an inch away from surfaces instead of farther away (which means a bigger sweep and less time spraying). This Greenworks washer is advertised at 2,000 PSI, and I'd say that's actually about right. So compared to most electric pressure washers, they're honest about the strength of the spray you'll have. In testing it out, it works fine on concrete, treated deck wood, siding, Though if you're looking to spray the exterior of a second floor of your home, you'd most likely need a ladder, or a 3,000 PSI pressure washer. As a pressure washer, it's good. It's not great, if you're comparing it to pressure washers that cost $400-$800. But for the price range, it's reliable, dependable, a solid choice. It's basically what you want if you have a limited budget, minor cleaning needs, and don't want to bother constantly filling one up with gasoline. It's about as convenient a pressure washer you'll find for under $150. One other benefit of going with Greenworks, is the brand itself. I must have close to 20 Greenworks tools in my main work shed. From small handheld ones, to battery-powered push mowers (practical for when we can't use the riding mowers after heavy rains). What's cool about Greenworks is that the batteries are interchangeable, so you can use the same 24V or 48V battery for one tool as any other tool. It's rare that I'll get something that's actually corded from them. But I'm actually pleased with this one. So we ended up ordering a second one. I also like that many of their commercial products are assembled here in the United States. Last I read, sometime in 2022 Greenworks is setting up a 20 million dollar factory in Tennessee. So it's nice to know that when you buy Greenworks, you're also helping to create more jobs here in America. Should you buy it? Pretty simple, are you looking to spend under $150 for an easy to use pressure washer, without having to ever buy or use gas? Then order it. Lots of convenience for a low asking price. If you're looking to use it for an actual business, consider something else. This isn't a commercial use pressure washer, for daily business cleaning (or what people would expect you to bring to a job). But don't just take me, or anyone else, at their word for how well it works. Order one yourself. Try it out for yourself. If you don't like it, just send it back and get a refund. So at least you're not risking anything. ... show more

  • Does the Job
Pattern Name: Washer Style: 2000 PSI (Open Frame)
I am a 76 year old woman that stays active inside and outside the home. Greenworks was recommended to me but at the time I wasn't sure what PSI I needed. After doing my homework and comparison shopping along with the great deal that Prime day offered, it was a no brainer. This Greenworks is 2000 PSI, and I just tested it out on my driveway today ( 7/30/23). What a nice job it does. It comes with 4 different nozzle choices for spraying , a compartment for soap (if needed) and everything is very neatly compact on its metal frame on wheels. I actually put it together myself, so if I can do it, you can too. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised that the July 2023 issue of Consumer Reports rated it a positive good buy. I am actually looking forward to using it more. ... show more

  • Decent light duty workhorse
Pattern Name: Washer Style: 2000PSI(Green Frame)
I had been considering an easier to use electric power washer in addition to my more powerful gas powered (heavy duty) power washer for quicker setup to wash my vehicles (2 cars 1 pickup) + other light duty cleaning projects. I also like the fact that most electric power washers turn off the pump when the trigger is released, reducing wear on the pump and not making a lot of constant noise. I was shopping around and saw this model "limited time deal" for $101.00 I would normally have bypassed this model and would have chosen a more powerful model with a higher flow (gpm) rate but for the price+ some rewards points I scored it for $50....what's not to like! This little workhorse did a decent job of cleaning the vinyl siding of my house, cleaning a grill, cleaning some outdoor rugs, some outdoor flower pots etc. As for washing cars, meh, it is only adequate for that job, mostly because of the low 1.1 gal gpm flow (gallons per minute). Also, the 2000psi manufacturer rating is misleading. Working pressure is barely 1500psi with the supplied (3) nozzles. In NO way will you have anywhere near a working 2000psi pressure. Using a (H-F) foam cannon (with the 1.1 orfice hack) & with the right soap/water ratio I got almost shaving cream consistency suds :-). Rinsing the car is ok but rinsing a spray (bottle) on rinse off ceramic hybrid wax, because of the low flow rate (gpm) the little Greenworks struggled/failed to rinse off the wax completely. I never had that issue with a garden hose. Bottom line. If you can catch this little power washer on sale and you only need a light duty power washer, give it a try......otherwise I would suggest looking for an electric power washer with a higher flow (gpm) $$$ rate. I also must state that I use a 50' flexilla hose and a McKillians short pressure washer gun with swivel. These two items make the Greenworks (or any) pressure washer more convienent to use for many projects, especially vehicles. The cheap 20' supplied hose is woefully inadequate for many projects. Would I buy it again, for the ridiculously low price I got it for, yes....for the full retail price, not a chance. ... show more

  • Very adequate for most homeowners, no need to bother with gas/oil or starting issues
Pattern Name: Washer Style: 2000 PSI (Open Frame)
I purchased this item primarily to wash the vinyl siding of my summer cottage. It assembled easily, although I replaced the spring clips supplied for the wheel axles with real cotter keys. The pressure generated by the electric pump is more than adequate, and it is convenient to start it with the flip of a switch. The soap nozzle works well, but you need to move fast as it goes through expensive soap concentrate in a hurry. The green higher pressure tip removed years of grime and mildew quickly. I used the white tip for washing my deck where the extreme high pressure was not necessary. The reason I did not give a 5 star rating is that I have used it only once; I'm hoping that it will outlive the 3 year warranty. ... show more
