Size: 17" Mower (4.0Ah)
Recently moved from apartment living to a tiny home, best thing I ever done, I couldn't be more happier. Well back to the product. This amazing lawnmower, it was very easy to assemble, if you can't figure it out, then you're a very special kind of person. I didn't even need to read the instructions how to assemble the mower, it was package wonderfully, even after UPS ate a chunk out my box, everything was still there. It was pouring rain the day it was delivered, I wasn't even upset, I pulled the battery and the charger, both wrapped up tightly and protected like a mother loving arms around their children. Charged the battery, took about 30 mins for it to be fully charged, and 5 mins to assemble the mower. Next day I was ready to cut this tiny yard, with my very bright green electric lawnmower, putting my ear phones on to some 80s, I was ready to tear up this yard up, I have 2 big trees, they drop all kinds of stuff in the yard. This mower says it mulch, I'm not picking nothing up. I know what your think I'm about to mess up my blades. l do not want to spend hours trying to prepare my lawn to cut grass, I want to roll over everything that gets in my way. I want to jam to my music and crunch everything in my lawnmower path. That is what I did, it was tricky to turn the lawnmower on, I did have to read how to get it to work. For you special individuals it's not a hard read, and really easy to do. Once I got it turn on, I plowed through everything in my yard; branches, green balls that fell off the tree, leaves and the grass. Dancing and cutting. The battery last the whole time plus, I grab the electric weedeater that came with the lawnmower slapped the battery in that one and weeded the yard. It died but I almost weeded the whole yard too, slapped the weedeater battery into, finished the yard, slapped the battery into the blower that also came in the set and blew the driveway, under the deck, the patio, and I blew the grass off me too. It took about 40 mins to do all this and I had a great time lawnmower, first time weeding, and finally blowing. To store the lawnmower, the arms fold down and the whole thing weights nothing. I did checked the blades, looked great and still new. For easy storage and takes up no space at all in my tiny shed. I recommend this products if you have a small yard and don't like the smell of gas in your shed. ... show more

  • Quiet, light, and it cuts
Size: 17" Mower (4.0Ah)
Love it! I replaced my lawn guy and decided to do it myself. This mower made it all easy. I have no complaints about the ease of charging up a battery and going to it. Startup is super simple, height adjustment is even easier. So to note, if you're doing a deep cut of some high grass, you're going to find that it bogs down if you set too low. That said, I didn't have any major issues with the first scalp so its enough to handle the job. The first scalp did require the small bin to be emptied often. My yard is a shade under 4000 sq ft and I emptied about 6 times. YMMV. Also be sure to snap in the mulch plug properly if you're not bagging or it'll fill up really quick. Even with it in place it'll fill up but just snap it in correctly. Easy to do. No big deal. Also the 4.0Ah battery is barely enough to handle that size of a yard for a single cut. It's a good idea to have one or two extras to take up the gap and if you are using the same 40v system to edge and blow as well you'll need them anyway. Personally I like to double cut and usually need a battery and a half (I have three batteries) to get through it all. The charger and battery are both easy to use and the level indicator on the battery is helpful. I've got a bermuda lawn and this doesn't get quite low enough but once I've got the lawn established and the height managed I'd switch to a reel mower and use this to clean up if I've been away from the yard for too long. The bed is small enough where if you have bumps in the ground you can easily scalp small sections of your lawn so be aware. Also the mower is very light which makes it very easy to handle, manueuver, back up, travel over roots, etc., but it also means the mower does want to bounce a little especially if you're blasting through quickly. I'd say that's a good excuse though to level that lawn. All in all, I recommend it if you're wanting to save some money and do a little work with some chore-ing. Once you have your height managed it makes nice even cuts (FYI no stripes, sorry). PROS - Easy to use and adjust - Lightweight - Has been reliable - Almost no maintenance required CONS - Not always powerful enough - Plan on an extra battery or two In hindsight I might have ponied up some more for the 80v (significantly more) but I'm still happy with my purchase and really have no reason to knock off any stars. The way I see it, if you have a small yard like mine and just want to take care of tidying up your lawn, this will do the trick. ... show more

  • So Far So Good
Size: 17" Mower (4.0Ah)
Took me over a month to open it. But it works pretty good. Goes over little sticks just fine. Stops when it goes over something to big. Also goes through moderately tall grass well, you can tell it struggles a little but still gets the job done. As with any battery powered lawn equipment the battery life sucks. The technology across multiple brands just isn't there yet. Anything you buy the battery will only last about 40 minutes to an hour. So if you want battery powered lawn equipment make sure to have at least 2 batteries. One charging while your working. It took about an hour for the battery to recharge about halfway. The wheels definitely could be better as they don't turn well but definitely not something I would return it over. And it is super quiet the loudest it got was with sticks but that's normal. If you have a small to medium yard this is definitely a good option. ... show more

  • Fairly impressed so far
Size: 17" Mower (4.0Ah)
Only had this little mower for about a month and I have to admit, it has exceeded my expectations. I would prefer a little more battery time but this time of year in Florida, I have about had enough by the time the one battery dies. As long as the yard isn't too overgrown, I can mow the front or backyard with one battery (approx. 80'x30' each). Today I was able to mow about 80% of the backyard and that was with very heavy growth (8-14") as it hasn't been mowed in over 2 weeks. I have been mowing my front yard about every 5 days and this mower has yet to let me down. I actually almost enjoy mowing the yard, even in the heat. As long as the battery can withstand a lot of charges and last me a couple years (spare greenworks batteries are not exactly cheap), I am happy with the purchase. ... show more
