Electric Pressure washers are great solutions to multiple cleaning challenges. As a contractor, I prefer the electric washers for indoor cleaning requirements. I have used them to prep basements for waterproofing and to remove mold and mildew (provided there is a floor drain. This Greener high pressure (rated 3,800 PSI) washer is just such a solution. We have a few compact pressure washers, one of which is a much older KEW unit that uses the same type of lance as is included with this Greener unit. Instead of interchangeable nozzles, the business end of this gun has a variable reed that intersects the water stream to create the fan-shaped spray pattern. We prefer this setup because it simplifies the nozzle setup and allows for instant changes to the spray pattern on the fly. With separate nozzles, you have to stop the unit and disengage from your cleaning project to change them. One note regarding the nozzle installation: There is a little keyed boss that engages into the lance end, otherwise the nozzle will not remain intact once you turn the unit on. The washer comes with a foam cannon and (thankfully) a 50-foot pressure hose. A lot of other washers go cheap and only include a 25-foot hose which severely limit your work range. It would have been nice to include a longer power cable. At 16 feet, it is sufficient, but 25 feet or, better yet, a 50-foot cord would be optimal. One other nice feature is the integral GFCI switch molded into the end of the power cord. Our old KEW has one and it is a nice safety feature. The foam cannon is also a nice touch, though be aware that even though it looks like it should plug into the end of the lance, in fact, you need to remove the lance from the handle, the foam bottle then push/turns into the handle. The cannon nozzle also uses a twist adjustment to change the spray pattern. An annoying shortcoming is the abbreviated instruction manual. There is assembly required, and although it is somewhat intuitive, a little direction is warranted. Besides the lack of assembly instructions, there is no minimal directions on use, just several pages of "safety rules." Certainly, we can figure out how to turn the dial to turn the unit on, but advising the use of the adjustable nozzles is a good move, particularly when installing the nozzle as mentioned above. A more complete manual would also suggest placement of the accessories. For instance, there are molded plastic holsters that attach to the sides of the unit. One is obviously a cord wrap, the other a bottomless pocket. Naturally, one would assume the handle/lance resides therein. Indeed it does, but you need to remove the lance and stow it elsewhere. On the Amazon page, on phot shows the lance and handle in the pocket, but the tip rests on the ground and will get abraded should you drag the unit around. We figured out that the foam canon rests in the forks on the back of the machine, but will it stay put? Probably, but a rubber band may be added to secure it during rough handling or transport. Regarding performance, it is currently January in the Midwest and we are expecting several snow storms, thus a test run will have to wait until warmer weather. I have faith in the pump and know what to expect from the lance and nozzles. If there are any shortcomings, we will surely report in an edited review. ... show more

    • Does a fine job getting things washed

Plenty of power in this little unit. Came in a small box, was easily assembled, but the instructions didnt have any about how to assemble, so had to wing it. It did have instructions for use after assembling. So you will have to either look online if you cant figure how to put it together to begin with. The end of the washing wand adjusts the stream from a single to a wide angle. You need to have pressurized hot/cold water thru a hose, as this has no tank to hold any water. It doesn't heat the water either (like a steamer would). The hose from the tank to your project is pretty long @ 50 feet, and is thin and lightweight, easy to manage. It has different spray attachments too. The tiny plastic bottle is to put soap into. We used shampoo to clean a rug to test it, and you dont need much soap, and it suds up quickly. Took a bit to get all the soap out, but the spray was super strong. Doesn't make much noise, but some, but didnt need earplugs when using outside. Would be able to clean second story windows, you could soap them up then remove the soap container and rinse off, getting all the cobwebs and dust/dirt off. Ran the unit after use with no water connected to it to spray out the left over water, and stored it back inside (winter here, and temps in teens at night, dont want the little bit left over to freeze inside the unit and crack the lines), Can't wait to test it on washing the car, as mud season is nearing. Also will use to clean under the carport as it is hard to get to on ladder, and this spray goes quite a distance. Thumbs UP. ... show more

Have you looked at other pressure washers and wondered why they are so expensive? I did. I was looking at big box and small box stores wondering how something so small and simple could cost so much. When I finally looked online and found this one specifically. I knew I found the unit I needed. At 3800 PSI you could wash the skin off a deer and the paint off of the berlin wall. Not only is this unit incredibly powerful but it is lightweight and very easy to use. It doesn't take up much room in my garage and I have that piece of mind knowing that when I use it. This is the first pressure washer I have ever owned and I am very pleased with it. It is perfect for cleaning off the back patio and for our front stoop/sidewalk. I really like how easy it is to use and how lightweight it is. For me, the best part is how everything is kept together in the unit. This is my electric power washer and I'm astounded it makes quick work on my deck and carport. It's not the internal combustion monster I have in the carport however it likewise is lighter and more straightforward to get moving and you don't need to stress over it leaving the vibration. This is the ideal tension washer to have around home. It has a reduced lightweight plan contrasted with its internal combustion partner. The 50 hose permits you to wash your vehicle without moving the machine. Transportation and capacity are a breeze since there is no fuel to stress over spilling. It's not the inner burning beast I have in the parking space anyway it similarly is lighter and more clear to get rolling and you don't have to worry about it leaving the vibration.
