Native to West Africa from Nigeria to the Congo, Greendigs Snake Plants are forgiving, low-maintenance houseplants, making them perfect for beginners. As semi-succulents, they thrive in low-humidity - it’s actually better to let your snake plant's soil get a little bit dry between waterings. Though lots of sunshine is ideal, snake plants adapt well to low-light as well as artificial light settings. Just keep in mind that arid, sunny environments are where snake plants naturally grow, so they will flourish better in that type of setting. Unlike most houseplants, which release oxygen during the day, snake plants release oxygen at night. It's often recommended to place these plants in your bedroom or other sleeping areas; however, they look fabulous in any space they're in. Ordered these live snake plants on a lightening/special deal and they are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!! To me, these are 10 star plants. They arrived wonderfully boxed and in perfect condition. They are live plants (Not silk or faux) - planted in beautiful ceramic pots, I chose the white. I ordered 4 of them. The pots have drain holes and also a separate matching drain plate - about 1/2" deep. They are very healthy looking plants. I was NOT expecting such nice pots, such nice plants and also the plant stick food with each plant. I have included photos. They also had cellophane wraps around each one and a nature plant product around the base to make sure the soil stay in place. I had removed those before taking the pics. On the 'in depth honest' part - a couple tips are broken off. One of the pots has a little gray 'scarring' of some sort that I could not wipe off. I did use a moist paper towel and wipe the leaves off cause they were a bit dirty - but none of these are deal breakers to me. Snake plants are sooooo easy. And clean a lot of yuck out of the air. I plan to keep collecting them because they are so easy and good for the air we breath inside. You can take clippings, put them in water and soon they will root and start another growth. I am not sure, but I may need to replant these into larger pots to get them to grow larger (?)- but they may be ok for now. I did put 3 plant food spikes in each pot per the plant food spike instructions - but I have never used them before - we shall see how that goes. I could not be happier with my purchase and happy to share picks of what I received. In addition, they included a lovely postcard style info sheet that includes what to do once you receive your plant and links to discover more about the plant you purchased. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. Ordered two so it would be a symmetrical display in my living room. Plants looked healthy and where still moist enough to not need water on arrival. Pots look good and were intact. Now for the bad plants were delivered via UPS which as the picture shows they couldn't understand "this side up" so the soil spilled outside of the pot and the plants needed throw checking. There was a few bent leaves which it's hard to tell if that was from packaging or shipping. Will have to wait and see if the leaf bounces back or if it will need trimming. Really love the pot but bottom tray fits perfectly on one and is slightly to big on the other. I tried swapping the bottom tray between the two plants to see if it would fit better on the other and it didn't. Not a huge deal with the tray I put a few pebbles in it so it more resembles the properly fitted tray and doesn't block off drainage. But if you have OCPD/OCD like me the tray issues is something that is going to bother you even if no one else notices it. Overall good buy for the price (I got it on sale under $20 each plant). I got the orange pot and it's got that beautiful fall vibe I love without being too in your face statement color. Plants appear healthy and established without being root bound so they won't need repotting anytime soon. It also came with merical grow spikes if that's your thing (I use organic fertilizer so I'll be gifting these spikes to someone who will use them). Love the dusting glove that was included with the plants as this is a comfortable and easy way to dust off the plant from time to time. ... show more

It came very well packaged and had a cute little box with a gift to go with the plant but the plant I got had a fair amount of damage to the leaves and and had some very dead leaves. All in all it wasn’t the worst just needed some tlc and the packaging was great. It’s order again if it was something small but I’d be worried about buying anything costly from Them and getting it in the condition I got this one in. ... show more
