I bought these for a Queen sized bed that I bought from a certain Scandinavian furniture store. I bought the bed years ago and put it in storage (my garage) when I sized up to a King for the era where I had my little kids in bed with us. In the meantime, the wooden slats disappeared from the garage. I looked to replace the slats from the original store but they have changed their style and I wanted the original kind. These slats are slightly less wide than the original ones but they are also closer together. They fit correctly and I didn’t have to shave the ends off although they were a teensy bit tighter of a fit which is actually not a problem. I’ve got my heavy mattress on them and none have broken. So much better than a box spring! We replaced our mattress and our new one was much thicker so we had to replace our box spring with slats. This gave our mattress the firmness we desired. Length is not true to size(too short, slides through the bed frame), planks are not sturdy, and wood is raw enough to give you splinters just by picking it up. You’re better off getting wood cut to size at Home Depot for cheaper

Okay.. but you have to check your bed frame. It would not fit both ways like it claims the slats needed to go horizontally but were too long for bed frame to go that way. Do your research. Needed to send it back but waited too long.

Worked great for our new bed frame and Satva mattress. The slats are all held in place with a fabric cover/enclosure that folds out kind of accordion style. The fabric is stapled to the wooden slats. I did make sure that the staples were flush by tapping them all with a hammer prior to install. Well priced product and I'd buy it again ... show more
